Vinny pov

sitting alone in my room was not how I wanted my day off to go. jack was at work and my family was gone as well, I picked up my phone looking at Twitter when I got a message from jack 

jacky❤️: my boss said I can have a 1-hour break 2day wanna go to the coffee shop next door?

me: of course! ill be ready in 10!

I jumped up from my bed and got dressed, brushed my teeth, and grabbed my man-purse. I grabbed my car keys on my way out snd drove to jack's work. we've been together for almost 2 years, he basically lives with me now. my family likes him as well, none of our friends know besides Kruz but she only knows because she knew we both liked each other. 

I pulled up to the coffee shop waiting at the front for him. I looked down the sidewalk seeing him walking over, I waved quickly and so did he. he started running towards me, when he got close enough to me he picked me up and kissed me. I giggled kissing him back, he put me down and laughed grabbing my hand dragging me inside. we haven't had time to hang out in a while, he's been working extra hours because were trying to buy an apartment but that means he works from 6 am to 10 pm usually before I wake up and after I go to sleep.

"Hey, Mrs. Mae!" I looked at the women jack was talking to. it was an older woman with dark black hair, she was short and stubby. "hello sugar! your usual- oh! who is this cutie?!" jack's smile brightened "this is Vinny my boyfriend! the one I'm always talking about" she gasped and walked out from around the counter hello there sweetheart I Virginia Mae if you need anything you come to me, okay baby?" I nodded and smiled, she had the essence of a mother. 

after ordering coffee and lunch we sat down at a table in the back, "so you talk about me huh?" I chuckled looking at jacks red face "of course I do, your my best friend, AND my boyfriend of course I talk about you!" he leaned over the small table and kissed my cheek "aww" he scratched the back of his neck "and because Mrs. Mae used to ask me every day until we got together if I had a boyfriend so-" we both laughed. "I love you!" my eyes got wide, this was the first time he's said it. "I-i love you too!" 

he only realized what he had said after I told him I loved him. I love him.
