A Coffee Full Of Love And Secrets

Chapter 3

* Alarm sounds*

Rubbing my eyes, I got up putting my slippers on heading towards the bathroom. I grabbed my phone to see the time was 7:20am. I'm not gonna be late so that means no ' you should be like Alice'. As I was in a good mood this morning , I decided to jump in the shower with Mamma Mia soundtrack blasting in the background. 

I sang along with my shampoo bottle as a microphone like I in Donna and the Dynamos. Once I got out the shower my fav song was on. Dancing Queen.  I did my teeth and skincare as I danced around my bathroom, trying not to bump into stuff. I re-entered my room, I caught a glimpse of the clock. 8am. Got dressed, had breakfast - I  even had time to watch tv - now i was on my way to work.

"Hey Dave." I said walking past the front desk.

" Hi....wow your up early, you might not be late today!" he exclaimed looing at his watch. I bowed saying thank you like I had just won a award.  I waved by as I exited the building.  I manifested to walk to work it was only half 8.  Sun shining, birds chirping ; I knew today was going to be great day! I finally arrived got to work to see the  shop was closed. Odd. The shop was always opens at 8:30am it was now 8:40. 

I slowly entered the shop.

"Hello?" I called out into the darkness , what was happening?

" Mum? Dad?...Alice? Anyone?" i called out again waiting for a response; i walked towards the counter.

"ROARRR!!!" 

"WHAT THE FUCK!!???" I screamed jumping backwards, turning the lights on.

Alice.

"I got you so badly, you should of seen your face!" she said laughing her pants off, grabbing the left side of her chest.

"Why isn't the shop open?" I asked annoyed.

"Well I wanted to scare you and it worked." 

I didn't reply to her for a couple of seconds.

"Where's mum and dad?" I asked after ignoring.

"Both very bad ill so that means..." 

" You and me are in charge..." I finished her sentence.

She nodded.

"Great" I whispered to myself as I walked into the back room.

"Love you! " she shouted.

"Hate you!" I shouted back, I was so pissed.

Great a whole day with Alice. Today wasn't going to be a good day after all..

Few hours later. 

I wanted this day to end so badly.  Alice made me do all the work, all she did was flirting with a customer - who in my defence was meh x1000 - To top it off the man from yesterday hadn't come back. Finally it was only one hour left of work. I was cleaning the coffee machine when the door bell rang.

"Hiya, what can I get you?" I asked facing away.

"Uhm, a ice coffee thanks." 

Wait it can't be, I turned around .

It was him...

Mans Pov

" Hiya what can I get you?" she asked me. She was cleaning , facing away from me. It had to be her.

"Uhm, a ice coffee thanks. "I replied. She slowly turned around.

It was her...

Her light brown, medium length hair. Her brown eyes like little chocolate buttons. Her smiling could light up NYC after dark. She was gorgeous. 

Once she had made my drink , our fingers touched for  split second. I felt something, I could tell she felt something as well , as she blushed. But that moment was ruined.

"Hey Cora, make me a coffee" said a girl walking in from the back room. So her name was Cora, what a beautiful. I was going to tell her my name but I had to go.

"Well thank you, bye Cora." I said as I left smiling. 

Cora's Pov

"Well thank you, bye Cora." he said as  left smiling.

Woah he knows my name! I started to blush.

"Oi my coffee" Alice demanded. I ignored her as I thought.

What is his name? And where have I seen him before today and yesterday??
