Part 9- behind the mask

"Please don't hurt me I'm begging you." He came towards her and grabbed her. He threw her on the kitchen table and put the knife in her stomach. He grabbed another one and again in her stomach. Then in her heart. He got up and went to the other room. A kid who's hiding in a corner is crying. The kid putted he's arms above his eyes and tried to not see him coming and painfully murdering him.

3 days later after the dead of Stacy

*ding dong*
We both look at the door. "No, Grace.. I will open it. You stay here.." I walk to the door and slowly open it. It was Theo, my other good friend. "Theo? What the hell are you doing here?" He is shivering and looks tired. "Terrible... All these murders make me sick..."
"Go home, Theo. It's not safe. Please.." he continues talking, "man, Stacy died.. I'm sick of Gabriël.. Why her why??" He started crying and put his arms on my shoulders. "I loved her dude.. I really did.."
"Okay, Theo. I know it's fucked up but you have to stay strong. Please go now I don't want you to get killed." I putted his arms of me and closed the door. "Who was that?" Asks Grace.
"Just a friend." I came back and sit in the sofa. "Is he okay?"
"No, he lost his girlfriend, my other friend.."
"Oh her, Jezus.. poor guy."

Theo is walking crazy in the streets. He slenters trough and suddenly falls. "Shit!" He gets up and looks down. "Wtf is that.." he grabs it from the floor and looks at it. It's a stick with a lot of blood on it. "Fuck..." he throws the stick away and walks to his car. He gets in his car and starts it. He looked behind him to get some water and saw someone sitting in the back. "Wtf.. Wtf.. Who are you..." they keep on looking at each other. "Please man get out of here." The man pulls out a knife and Theo flinches. "Oh shittt." He tries to get out the car but it's locked. He looks back and suddenly a knife came his direction. He dodges it and tries to drive away. Then the man places his hands in front of his eyes and he can no longer see anything. "Ah man stop that, leave me alone!" He grabs him by the head and breaks his neck. The car keeps on going and crashes into an other car. The masked man gets out of the car and pulls the other guy out of his car. He starts to choke him to death. After that he continues to walk.

The next day

"Connie! Can you come here for a second."
I walk of the stairs towards Grace. "What's up?" I see a bunch of police officers standing in my house. "Connie, maybe it's better if we move town.. it's not safe here anymore.." I look confused and ask them what happened. "Well, last night, your friend Theo got killed, right after he left." I'm starting to walk the other way and lay myself on the ground. "WHY??!" I started crying and screaming. One of the officers came to me and said, "hey it's okay. As long as you are safe.."
"No, he's doing this to me. He wants to hurt my feelings and then he's gonna come for me." I look over at Grace. "You and Cillian Will have to leave. He's gonna come for you guys too.." Grace is in shock and puts her hand on her mouth. "If you want, you could always stay with us for a couple days.." the cops suggest.
"No, I'm not gonna leave them here alone." I answer immediately.

2 hours later we decided to go to the beach to get our heads clear.

Me and Grace were laying down on the beach. "Connie, get it out of your head, relax a bit alright?" I turned my head to her and said, "I feel like this is all my fault.."
"What, why?"
I started crying and said, "I should've never wanted to take revenge or do anything stupid, cause it ends up with people I love getting killed.."
"Listen Connie, nothing is your fault. There is literally a serial killer walking around killing certain people. But none of that is your fault. He decided to kill everyone, and the only thing you did, was trying to stand up for your family. And your brave as hell for that." I smiled at her and hug her. "Thanks for being so good to me, mom." She hugs me back and says, "anytime honey.."
"Connie.. will you go swimming with me?" Cillian asks. I release her and grab his hand. "Sure, first one at the water wins.."
And so we all got our heads clear and had a fun time at the beach.

2 days later

"Connie I have to go, take care of your brother alright?" Grace had a meeting with some guy she' s talking to. "Sure, have fun. And be careful.." she came to me and hugged me. "Bye little one and bye Cillian." She left the house and I stared at Cillian. "Pizza?"
"Pizza!" He answered.

20 minutes later the pizza finally arrived. I opened the door and took the pizza. When suddenly in the corner of my eye I saw someone standing with a mask on turned to the front. "Excuse me.." I grabbed a bat and ran to the man. When I was there I angrily beat him up and so I kept going until he fell down. I was out of breath and suddenly I heard a woman call out. "My son! What have you done to my son!!!" She came running to me and helped her son get up. "Sorry...I'm so sorry..." I dropped my bat and silently walked backwards. "Connie!" I woke up startled and started breathing heavily. "What.. what happened.. wha.."
"It's me Cillian.. is everything okay Connie.."
"Shit, sorry. I had a bad dream.."
"You fell asleep.."
I got up and carried him on my lap. "I'm sorry I scared you.."
"Its okay.."
Suddenly the bell rang. "Pizza!"
"Oh yeah" I got up and opened the door. I looked at the side and saw no one. He gave me the pizza and I closed the door. "Let's eat this good pizza!" We both arrived at the table and started to eat.

The next day

I was in my car driving to a little dining room. I stopped at where I used to go a lot with my mother. I stepped inside and I ordered myself something to eat. "Hey, aren't you the girl on the news.." I nodded my head. "I'm so sorry, it's so terrible what happened." She walked away and got my food ready. After I was done I left the Cafeteria and went back outside. When I walked to my car, I saw Gabriël drinking something. I dropped my keys and stood stil for a second. I got angry and I jumped right into him. I hit him on the face a few times, till some people stopped me and got me off of him. He got up with a bleeding nose and looked me in the eye. "THAT'S FUCKING GABRIËL MYERS, THE ONE WHO KILLS ALL THE INNOCENT PEOPLE!" The people let go of me and stood up to grab Gabriël. he went slowly backwards and then he ran away quickly. They tried to catch him, But he was already gone. "Shit, he got away."
"I'm sorry, are you the girl..-"
"Yeah yeah, you should've let me." I walk to my car and drive away. "If you see him, kill him." I say out of my window.

I walk inside my house and close all the doors.
"Grace, it's revenge time. He's gonna die, tonight."
