The following days, things are rushing and the few weeks before the beginning of the school year go by at high speed. You continue your training while preparing for school. Peter is more excited than you are. He knows more about the university where you are going than you do.

Tony is more present, he seems to be happy that you are going to college and even bought everything you need. You are embarrassed to accept so much money but it is a relief to see that Tony is not angry with you.

Scott comes with Cassie to pick you up to spend a few days with them in San Francisco before classes start.

It feels strange to leave the compound, it had become your home, you stress a little while taking your suitcase, you look at your room one last time.

"Hey you come back whenever you want, this is your home".

you turn back to Nat "it feels strange, until a few months ago I was spending my life between these 4 walls and I wasn't sure I would ever get out".

She takes your suitcase from your hands, "I can't wait for the next vacation and for you to tell us everything".

Tony lends you his jet. Cassie has already climbed the stairs and is waving at you. You envy her ease. You have never flown before and you are a little apprehensive. You say goodbye to Nat, you've already greeted all the Avengers separately, and you're relieved you don't have to do it again as a group.

During the flight you are fascinated by the view, it is so beautiful, you play with Cassie and Scott, you hardly have time to find the time long that the flight has already arrived.

On the tarmac a brown van is waiting for you. Scott introduces you to Luis, he is one of his associates, Luis asks you many questions but leaves you little time to answer them.

You spend the following days visiting the city, you also meet Hope, Scott's girlfriend, as well as his ex-wife and her new husband. It looks like a TV family, everyone seems to get along well. Everyone is so nice to you.

The day before school starts Scott helps you get settled in your room on campus, you're getting a roommate. Maybe the beginning of a great friendship, like Scott and Luis'.

Alone in your room you feel homesick. Your phone rings

"Hello"

"Hi Hianny, I'm calling you just before I leave on a mission, is everything okay? Are you ready for tomorrow?"

"Yes Nat I'm fine thanks"

"We miss you, you know?"

"I miss you guys too"

"Bye."

"Bye."

Since your mother's death everything has gone so fast, you have a hard time remembering the incident. You practice the relaxation exercises that Wanda taught you, not wanting to risk an incident with your powers.

The first few weeks go well, you don't have the codes to go to class, but you like going to class. You have more trouble with other students, and you spend most of the time working alone. You were supposed to do a group assignment but the group forgot about you. You sometimes feel invisible, your attempts to approach them are unsuccessful.

Your roommate takes pity on you and invites you to a party for the following Friday, she advises you on your outfit and exchanges a little with you. But she spends all her time with her own friends and her boyfriend.
