"Good morning Timothy." I said leaving my room.
"Good morning Jasmine. Hope you rested well."
"I had an headache but I'm pretty ok now thanks to the drugs you gave me."
"Trevor would be mad if he ever finds out that you fell sick in my care."
"You make it sound like he's madly in love with me when I know it's not true." I said.
   "So you like him?"
"Don't put words into my mouth old man." I said
"Anyways, that's now what I meant. I mean he doesn't like me." I added.
"So how do you explain the house."
"He trashed mine. That was the least he could do."
"I thought the least he could do was give you his prize money."
"So did I, but here I am."
"So you're telling me he gave you a house, money and two cars because he trashed an apartment?" He asked me .
"What's in your head old man?"
"I watch a lot of romantic movies. Ever since I lost my wife I got married to romance." He said.
"That's cute and weird for an old man." I said.
"I've gotten a weird but never a cute, thank you." He said which I laughed to.
"What about that tour?" He asked me
"Is there really any need of it. When I need to go somewhere I'll just phone you."
   "Without my number?"
"You can give it to me right now." I said bringing out my phone from my pocket.
"Don't worry Jasmine. We have a house line you can call or you can use this." He said pointing at an intercom I didn't notice.
   "This house has everything!"
"It was designed to suit every lazy person's desire."
"Did you just call me lazy."
"I didn't. I just called those who live here lazy." He said.
"So you insulted us both." I said to which I giggled to.
"I guess you're right." He said which cracked me up.
" Why were you so uptight when we first met?" I asked him randomly.
"It would have been weird to have met me like this. You would think I'm crazy. So I had to put up an act. That was the best way to approach you." He said.
"I was already imagining living with an uptight adult. I've experienced it once and now I have the opportunity to stay with someone a bit crazy."
"Are you talking about your parents?"
"I wish I wasn't. They were so strict and to top it all I was neglected."
   "So what did you do?"
"I ran away in high school."
"That is the most stupid idea I've ever heard. Trevor was right. You make stupid decisions." Timothy said.
"Hey, I've never made any decision around him."
"The scar on his face says otherwise."
   "He broke into my house."
"And you could have thrown another thing at him."
"In my defense, I didn't know it was him. I thought it was a random theif, and I was already angry at the moment."
"That decision was stupid. If he died you  would have been arrested for murder and you're too naive  to cope in prison."
"I'm sure I would have survived. Would it not only be for like a month."
   "Fifteen years cupcake."
   "You're joking right?"
"Obviously I don't know anything about law." He said laughing.
   "Ooh...."
"Did you expect me to?" He asked still laughing.
"Not really." I said as I started laughing.
   "That's better."
"I can't wait to spend my remaining days in this house with you." I said.
"Neither can I. you know, there's a sofa out back. If you enter your room there's a door that will lead you to the patio. You can enjoy yourself there." Timothy said.
   "Thank you." I said leaving.
"Jasmine wait, I have to give you a heads up on something. I'll only be here from on Mondays to Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays, Trevor will be here." He said, well that goes my peaceful Friday afternoon.
"Why are you telling me this now. I would have left my stuffs at my apartment and comeback on weekdays. I still have enough time. I can call Mae and..."
"And you won't do anything about it." He said dragging my phone from my hand.
   "Hey, hand it back."
"I'm sorry Jasmine. I can't. It's what I'm paid to do. You can't leave this house until Trevor tells me you can." Timothy said.
"Hey, I thought we were on the same page a few minutes ago. Please give me my phone." I said stretching my hand to take my phone from his hand.
"I'm sorry that it has to be this way Jasmine." Timothy said and in a split second I saw my phone fall down and shatter on the floor.
"My baby!" I said running to what remained of my phone and started gathering it.
"Tell me this is not happening, tell me that wasn't my phone that you just shattered on the floor. Tell me it was just a faux and you'll bring out my phone. I promise you, I'll laugh over it and hug you. You'll be the greatest magician of all time. Timothy I'm begging you, my life is in that phone." I cried out waiting for Timothy to shout surprise!, when I didn't get a response I knew it was real. I no longer had a phone. I cried out and remembered how I bought it. It was rather old compared to what people were using but I worked for it. 24 hours day and night shift. I got insulted because of that phone.
"Timothy just tell me why I'm being treated like this. You wanted to make me feel comfortable. I won't lie; you got me for a second but I'm back. I want to go home Timothy. I no longer want to stay here with you. You're as sick as Trevor and you're both psychopaths." I screamed.
"I regret what I did Jasmine but I had no other choice; Trevor told me."
"Oh stop it with Trevor. Ever since he entered my life, I've been feeling controlled. I'm not allowed to do what I want to do when it comes to him and he never wants to listen to anything I have say. I'm human; you know, I deserve to be heard. Now I'm back yy trapped in this house I know nothing about. Tell Trevor that he should go fuck himself." I said angrily standing up, pushing my way past Timothy and going to my room.
I came back later with a little box and gathered the remaining shards of my phone in it.
"Congratulations Timothy, you've succeeded in spoiling my day." I said walking past him and heading to the room.
