Time skip

Lena POV

I looked down at the eternals all fighting Ikaris, Phastos was holding him down. Thena and Makkari were handling the deviant that killed Gilgamesh. Phastos was talking to Ikaris.

"I don't know about you, but this is really satisfying, right?" Phastos said.

"Let me go, Phastos! I can't let her do this!" Ikaris pleaded.

"I don't think so. I've been wanting to clip your wings for a long time, Ikaris!" Phastos said.

"Mind if I join?" I said landing next to Phastos.

"Where have you been?" Ikaris asked.

"Waiting to make a grand entrance." I said in a duh tone.

"Go off and help Sersi." Phastos commanded.

"Sersi!" I yelled looking for her, I saw her talking to Ajak.

"You're not powerful enough to do this. And you won't. You're not a killer." Ajak said. I looked around trying to figure out if it was real.

"Maybe I've changed. And is this really who you are, Sprite? Are you really willing to let everyone on this planet die? What about Lena?" Sersi called Sprite out,Sprite reformed behind her and pushed a blade in her stomach. I lowered myself behind Sprite so only Sersi could see me.

"I'm sorry, Sersi. I've always envied you, Sersi. 'Cause you get to live as one of them. And I never could. You know why I hated living with humans? Because they reminded me of things I didn't even know I wanted. Because of them, now I wanna know what it feels like to grow up. To fall in love. To have a family. And to know, in the end, I've lived. It's all over now. We get to start over somewhere new." Sprite explained creating duplicates of the volcano so we couldn't find it. Druig and I hit her in her head to stop the illusions.

"Well that was very moving." Druig said.

"Druig." Sersi said in astonishment.

"I can't do this. This is your fight now." Druig said before Sersi ran off.

"I thought you were dead?" I asked him.

"And I thought you left us," he said out of breath.

"Touche, I'll stay with Sprite, go help the others." I told him. Sprite woke up.

"I'm sorry Lena." Sprite said with tears in her eyes. Tiamut stopped moving and Sprite and Druig were called for the unimind. Sersi was stopping a celestial. I watched the figure turn to stone.

"Sersi did it!" I shouted excitedly running over to hug Sprite, she hugged me back and tighten her grip.

"Ok.... superstrength.....I need to breathe." I gasped.

"I think the others are waiting." I said and flew the two of them down to the group waiting at the beach. Makkari and Druig reunited, I will definitely be shipping that and teasing them later.

"You guys did it!" I shouted running to hug Phastos and Thena.

" Is he gone?" Sprite asked tearfully about Ikaris, Sersi nodded.

"Sprite. I still have energy from the UniMind. I think I can make you human. All the things you said you wanted, you can have them. But your time will be fleeting and you'll die one day. Are you ready for that?" Sersi asked, giving Sprite a chance to live a normal life.

"I am." Sprite said, Sersi offered her hand using the last of the unimind energy to make Sprite human. I looked at her and smiled

"Looks like you're coming with me." I said with tears in my eyes. I ran over and hugged her not wanting to let her go again.
