Tamareh turned around slowly with a deadly expression on her face.
"What." "Is it." "Lucas." she hissed through gritted teeth.
Lucas' eyes widened in surprise at her reaction. That was the way she usually acted whenever he insulted her - which was alot. Usually, Jasper was there to prevent him from driving Tam crazy but currently, Jasp was doing his business in the toilet.
Perfect timing.
Lucas had never, in his life, wanted to hurt Tamareh's feelings, but there was something about her that made him want to.
It was as if pretending there was something to pick on would be the only way to push her out of his head. Moreover, for some reason, he got thrills whenever Tamareh freaked out or got physical with him - which was also alot.
Lucas opened his mouth as if to speak but she cut him off.
'I am NOT in the mood right now for one of your stupid insults so leave me-'
'Technically, you're never in the mood for my insults but when you are, do tell me, Love."
Tamareh's face turned an alarming shade of red.
Lucas pouted his lips and made puppy eyes. "Awww look you're blushing for me. I didn't know that you wanted me tha-"
Tamareh grabbed Lucas by the collar and roughly hauled him out of the cafe. She then proceeded to shout in his face.
"I'm red with ANGER YOU FU-"
Asher pulled the two apart, just before Tamareh's clenched fist made impact on Lucas' elegant features.
He stood protectively infront of Tamareh, blocking her from Lucas' penetrating gaze.
Lucas clenched his jaw.
Urgh. The way she looks at Asher - as if he's her hero.
Asher flashed Lucas an acidic glare.
"Just say what you wanted to say."
Asher was getting sick and tired of having to always stop Tamareh from ripping off Lucas' face. This was probably the 5th time in the week.
Tamareh seriously has to work on her social sk-
Asher's thought was interrupted by Lucas's suddenly accusing voice.
"Did you compel me?"
Asher face paled and his mouth was an 'o' shape.
He had compelled him - compelled him to forget. Why would Lucas ask him?
"Whutttt.. no..." Tamamreh responded alittle too quickly, eyes darting to the left.
"Then why was it that when I arrived at the cafe, my clothes were all wet and all I could think of was both of your faces?' He looked at Tamareh's and Asher's hesitant faces.
"Don't you dare lie to me!" he barked.
After a moment, Asher spoke.
"I compelled you because you were becoming violent, like you always are." he explained, blinking slowly, annoyance plastered on his face.
Lucas's knuckles turned white.
"Oh. You mean LIKE THIS?!" Lucas made a huge fire ball with his hand.
He was fuming. In fact, fuming did not cover it.
'How many times have you compelled me? How many times have you just erased my memory without another thought?"
