As the Windblume festival is approaching, Aether and Thoma have been talking about it a lot. Thoma told Aether how him and his friends celebrated during the festival, how they played various games outside, all the pretty decorations in Mondstadt and Aether told Thoma about everything that happened last time and how many things changed.

Aether also mentioned how many people from other nations come to Mondstadt during the festival to drink the famous dandelion wine.

Alcohol isn't really Thoma's thing, but something did peak his interest in the topic.

Thoma and Diluc were childhood friends and he really missed him...

That was it, Thoma had to visit Mondstadt as soon as possible! He wanted to see his dear friend once again.

Aether agreed to take Thoma there and a week later, they took off!

They arrived in Mondstadt a day later and Aether took him straight to the winery.

Unfortunally, Diluc was nowhere to be found.. The maids told the two gentlemen to go search for him in Angel's Share.

They immediately hit the road, almost forgetting to thank the maids.

Aether didn't care where they had to go or how long the trip is, he saw the yearning in Thoma's eyes and that was enough for him.

"I wonder if he remembers me.." said Thoma with a slight frown on his face.

"How could he forget you? You're a pretty handsome guy, I'm sure e wouldn't forget someone like that!" Aether smiled, reassuring Thoma that it'll be okay.

"Oh boy, I'm getting a bit nervous.." he said in a shaky tone, "What if I say something wrong or make a fool out of myself!?"

"You'll be fineeeee" Aether smiled, he was sure that Thoma has a crush on Diluc

"I don't know Aether, I'm not sure if I can do this......", Thoma whined, "What if Diluc won't like me b-"

"Ohhh~ so that's what this is all about! I see~" Aether teased Thoma as if he didn't already know.

The two just passed the bridge in front of the gate. Thoma suddenly got really anxious and wanted to fall in a hole.

Aether noticed him and stopped before they entered the city. "Thoma? Are you okay?"

Thoma nodded his head in disapproval. "Wanna calm down before we get there? We can go eat something!"

They enjoyed a meal at "Good Hunter"s and Thoma seemed to be calming down.

"Ready to go now? I'm with you so no need to worry, okay?" Aether chuckled making Thoma feel at ease. "Yeah.. Let's go!"

At the door of the tavern, Thoma stopped for a second, "Aether.. can you go first...?"

"Of course I can", Aether smiled, "Come in when you're ready." Thoma felt relived, he collected his thoughts and tried to calm down.

"Hello, sir Diluc!" Aether chuckled as he entered. "Well hello traveller, been awhile, hasn't it", Diluc stopped pouring another order from the drunkards.

He slided the platter across the counter for Charles to deliver the order to whoever ordered it.

Diluc leaned on the counter, "So, what brings you here? You came here all the way from Inazuma?"

"I was accompanying a friend, actually, he wanted to check this place out", said Aether, hoping to make Diluc curious about who came all the way to Mondstadt to visit the tavern.
