Hannah's pov
I gasped and woke up all sweaty,I had the dream again.the dream where I'm floating up in space and a hand grabs me and pulls me towards it,i exhaled and looked out the window.it's a rainy day today,but it's not just an ordinary rainy day.today is the anniversary of when I met Klaatu,I'll never forget what he told me before he left to go back to his home planet:
"I will come back for you when you are 18."
I exhaled and looked at the calendar Jacob got me:tomorrow was my birthday,does this mean Klaatu is finally coming back to get me?"Hannah,Hannah are you awake?"Helen asked as she opened the door,"Y-Yeah,I'm awake."i said.she gasped,"Are you ok hun?"she asked as she walked towards me."I'm fine Helen,honest."she said,she wiped the sweat off my forehead."Yeah sure you are."she said sarcastically,I sighed."I...I had the dream again."I confessed as she looked around my room,she picked up pieces of drawings I made."they've been happening a lot lately haven't they?"she asked,i nodded.
She sighed and sat down beside me,"Hannah,you know Klaatu can't come back.if he did the government would be after him again,you know this."she explained to me for the 15th million time.i sighed,"I know...I know..."I said.she patted my back,"don't worry,Jacob is coming back from college today!"she said happily.she walked out of the room,I sighed and stood up.i put on my black sweater and grey sweatpants along with some mismatch socks,I slipped on my black vans and grabbed my sketchbook and backpack.i walked downstairs and immediately smelled breakfast,i exhaled and smiled.
