Hannah's pov
Klaatu and I got off the truck and walked towards this nice looking house,I looked down at my shoes as Klaatu knocked on the door."oh shoot,I have a hole in my shoe."I complained,I sighed.i shrugged,"oh well."I said.then the door opened,I immediately held Klaatu's finger.it was a lady who opened the door,I guess she must be the scientist."who is it?"a little boy asked,"just some friends!"the lady said.she was probably lying to protect the boy,she stepped in front of the front door and closed it behind her."What are you doing here Klaatu?"she asked,"you already know his name?"I asked her.she now just noticed me,"who are you?"she asked.
"I'm Hannah,Klaatu's friend.I'm teaching him about being human!"i said proudly,she looked at me then she looked at Klaatu."Hannah would you mind if me and Helen talk alone?"he said,"oki dokie!"i said.i ran toward a tree,I jumped up and held onto one of the branches.i swung around for a bit and watched Klaatu and Helen talk,I was curious and wanted to know their conversation but Klaatu said it was a private talk.So it's not really my business,I let go of the branch and plopped down on the grass.i looked up at the twinkling stars,"I wonder what it's like in space?Klaatu must be so lonely up there...it doesn't seem like there's much to do in space anyways."I thought.
"Hannah,I need to talk to you."Klaatu called out to me,"Ok Klaatu!"i said.i ran towards him and Helen,"So what's gonna happen now?"I asked him.he bent down to my height and held my hands,"Hannah,I have to go."he said.I widened my eyes,"go?right now?"I asked."Yes,right now."he said,"B-But-"I began to protest."Helen will watch over you,I will come back for you when you are 18."he said,I couldn't believe what I was hearing!"no!"I cried,I hugged him tightly."I wanna go with you!please don't leave me!don't leave me!"I begged him,I felt him hug me back."I must go,but I'll always be with you."he said,he wiped my tears."I promise I will come back for you."he said,I sniffed."Promise?"I asked,he nodded.
