Thirteen mornings.

Thirteen mornings of waking up in his house with Jungkook and Yeona as guests.

In Thirteen mornings Jungkook has transformed his status from a relative stranger to someone Tae is dating.

This morning when he opened his eyes on new year's eve, his cheek was squashed on Jungkook's chest and their limbs were entangled. He questioned whether he'd always been someone who fell in love quickly but he doesn't really know. What he does know is that in thirteen mornings, he has caught feelings for the man who will be leaving his home tomorrow.

Their stomachs had been growling, protesting at being left empty by the time they managed to get out of bed. The lazy kisses and tender touches made it a task to do anything other than lay in each other's arms under the duvet. It was a novelty for them both after years of being single and having to get out of bed to care for their daughters.

The daughters that would arrive any minute so their new year's eve celebrations could begin with a snowball fight, thanks to another night of heavy snowfall and the girls deciding they couldn't wait to take on their fathers. The sex last night had opened the floodgates and they'd struggled to keep their hands to themselves all morning, with a shower needed after sex in the kitchen while Jungkook made breakfast. With the girls due back any time now, the Fathers were making the most of the time they had alone, kissing on the sofa.

"Are you sure we should tell them this soon?" Jungkook asks Tae during a pause for air.

"I think so? Let's see how it goes? I just... I don't know if I can do the sneaking around... not after last night."

"And this morning... twice." Jungkook grins. They were certainly making up for the time they'd lost over the past few years and he was loving every minute. Tae is more than he could've imagined, the icing on the cake being when Tae told him that if he ached too much he was more than happy to switch. Jungkook wasn't quite ready for that just yet, never having topped with a guy and loving being a bottom too much but the thought excited him greatly.

"It's a birthday that I won't forget in a hurry. You'll have to explain why you're walking funny." Tae grins, ghosting his lips along Jungkook's jaw.

"Since it's your fault, you can explain." He responds, turning his head to chase Tae's lips.

"I'm more than happy to accept the blame." Tae says just before he swipes his tongue along Jungkook's lower lip.

Jungkook let's a low whimper pass his lips. At 35 years old, he feels like he's 18 again and he has so much hope that things will work out with Taehyung. The only apprehension they both have is how their daughters will respond when they get the opportunity to sit down and tell them.

When the girls arrive back, the peace and quiet is abruptly ended as expected. They both chatter about their evening and since they are both already wrapped up in coats, hats and gloves, they opt for a snowball fight to start their new year's eve off, before it starts getting dark.

"They look funny." Jia whispers to Yeona as they crouch behind the teepee in the garden.

"They keep looking at each other." Yeona whispers back.

"Something has happened. Maybe our plan didn't work?" Jia asks as she takes a quick look to see where their fathers are.

"Or maybe it did? How are we going to find out?" Yeona looks from the other side to ensure they aren't going to be sneaked up on.

"Make all conversations about romance? And hope they tell us?"

Yeona nods in agreement, "Maybe when they've had soju they'll spill the tea? We should start talking about dating and see what happens. I'm always telling my Appa that he won't find anyone if he doesn't like romance."
