I wake up at 6.

In the morning this time.

Not at night.

I made sure to check twice.

But unless I slept for almost eighteen hours straight, then it's six in the morning.

I walk downstairs and take the box of cookies I got yesterday.

I only finished half of them so I'm eating the rest now.

And I have to say the boy can bake.

They are absolutely delicious.

Ariwen

My old 'best friend'.

She was not the best thing to have happened to me.

But I was able to stop listening to her and start getting better.

But she is still a presence in my life.

She's dating Theo. Well past tense actually, she dated Theo.

She's still mad.

They broke up. Reasons are still unknown. But I'll find out soon.

Also unknown is who broke up with who.

Since everyone knew about their relationship. There's rumors. But no one knows exactly what happened.

Jonathan might know, seeing as he's close with Theo, but there's a chance that even he doesn't know.

As I walk into school with Jonathan and Theodore next to me, she is looking at me like she's about to jump me.

I hope she does.

I've got some unresolved anger towards her that I could use.

Plus she's just plain mean. To everyone. Like there is not one person who she is nice to unless Theodore is near.

She changes to a completely different person when he is near.

"Day what did you bring to eat today?" Jonathan says from my right side.

"Oh I was just planning on buying something from here. Why?"

"I wanted to steal something from you but since you don't have anything," he turns to Theodore "what did you bring for lunch today?"

"So when are you asking him out?"

I nearly choke on my drink when I hear June say that. "What? Who?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about Lovelyn. You only stare at him all the time during class. You should just do it."

I give her a questionable look.

"Fine if you really want to act like we don't know that you have a crush on him then we won't" she turns her head and looks at the teacher.

It is true I do have a bit of a crush on him.

"Him" being Victor Madden.

He's on the football team with Jonathan.

I've had a bit of a thing for him for a bit now but he's never seemed to reciprocate it. So I've never even thought about asking him out.

I have never really dated. I had my first date when I was 14. It ended with him never talking to me again after a very bad and awkward first kiss.

Safe to say that I have focused more on myself and have not really dated.

So because of that, I now do not even know how to ask someone out.

"Fine you're right, I do have a bit of a crush on him." I say in a small voice, closing my eyes.

"Duh. Okay so now that you've accepted it, go ask him out." she says with a smile. She just loves to be right.

"No. I don't know how to do that. I know that it's not a big deal or whatever but it kind of feels like it is."

"No, I mean your last date was when you were 14 so this is kind of a big deal." she holds my hand, "Whenever you are ready and if you want, which it seems like you do, ask him. If not, you might regret it later."

"Yeah, okay."

hey! I've had the worst writers block or whatever you want to call it. And then just when I started to write again I got assigned an important essay (which you know if you follow me on TikTok so go follow me), so I had to focus on that. But I'm back and hopefully get a good grade on that essay. Anyways I'm back :)

See you next chapter, luv ya all <3
