"So what game are we playing today people?" He says as he sits down in the seat right next to mine.

We both hate each other when we are going against each other in whatever it might be.

Whether it be a history test or debate, we are both very competitive.

That being said, when we are not competing then that's when we are friendly.

Like I said before we once played tag and to say that people were taking it very seriously would be an understatement.

We are all very very competitive.

So we usually go against one another during these games that we play while waiting for awards.

It's actually really fun and I usually enjoy myself watching how competitive Theo becomes.

I would never admit that to him or anyone else. For obvious reasons.

I have no idea what game they have brought today. There's usually a variety of choices that we all take a vote on so we'll see which one ends up being the one to be played.

Hopefully someone brought lotería again. It's always so fun to play.

My mom is Mexican so I grew up with games like lotería and such. My dad is from the US so that is why my last name is Reid, but my mom always made sure to include her culture into whatever we did growing up.

Theo's dad, Roy is also Mexican and his mom, Poppy is American. So we all got to be able to experience and grow up with both cultures and traditions.

"We have cards so we can play blackjack, go fish, or 21. There is also Uno and lotería." June says to our table.

As soon as she says 'lotería' Theo and I turn to look at eachother. We both smile at each other.

Things are about to get very interesting here.

"What no! That is not fair and you know it!" Theo yells and then looks over to me.

"Don't you dare laugh Day. You know that he did not call the card out"

"I would have heard if he had said 'El Árbol'.", he says in a mocking voice while making a funny face.

I am trying very hard to not laugh.

He looks so cute when he's mad.

No, do not even go there.

"Oh come on!"

"You have to side with me Day. They love you, they'll agree with me if you do." he whispers to me. "Please"

"Stop calling me Day, and we might have a deal" I whisper back.

He looks as if he is considering it and then calls out to the table, "Fine I lose." And then adds with an eye roll, "Whatever".

Now I'm laughing.

He looks like a three year old when they are told that they can't have extra desert.

He looks over at me and gives me a wide smile when he sees me laughing.

"I'll never stop calling you Day, Darling."
