- Joshua Williams -

I sit on the rugged and torn-up couch as I take a drink from the beer I got out from the fridge about ten or so minutes ago. I look up and see West standing in the doorway. "Close the door, Lucas. You're letting the cold air in." I tell him, so he does it then sits next to me on the couch, I look at him and notice the stitches

"I take it, Becca fixed you up pretty good?" I ask, standing up and walking over the fridge, opening it up and tossing him a beer from the fridge. I then walk back over to the couch and sit down, Lucas nods at the question.

"You never told me. Who did that to you? Julian just told me he found you at the lot like this." Lucas has always mostly found me as a supportive brother or dad, Lucas's parents were dead, along with mine and Julian's then, Erik's parents, you never hear of them.

"Colt Miller's brother." Lucas was always a soft talker, no one could barely even hear him, but I have got to the point where I'm used to Lucas's quiet and soft talking that I can hear him loud enough.

I raise an eyebrow at what Lucas said. "Miller has a brother?" I was kind of confused on how Colt Miller had a brother, he was never around the first time they met each other or even had a fight against each other. But, how bad Lucas's scars were, his brother might be more dangerous than him.

Lucas nods and I sigh, looking at the TV as the gang broadcasting channel interrupts.

"We interrupt your program with breaking news. Gang member Erik Morgan was found dead in the hospital room this morning at 6:34 AM. One-shot within the rib cage and two shots in the shoulder. Erik Morgan died at the age of 19-years-old, one of the fierce gang members in the East. And also a member of the Blue Bloods."

I gasp and close my eyes at the news. Erik was like an uncle that I'd never had. Now he's dead. I look up at Lucas who was in shock. I press my hand on his shoulder as I sigh. "They just couldn't fucking help him." I was a bit angry and mostly in shock at this news.

I always viewed Erik as a guy who could never be killed. Even if you put a bullet in his head. I stood up, throwing my beer bottle across the room, rubbing the back of my head. "2 years ago! 2 fucking years ago! Erik saved a kid from a burning building, I guess we're just throwing that god damn news away then huh?!"

It was obvious I was talking about the doctors who probably didn't do anything for Erik. I walk out of the house, slamming the front door behind me. I have to find that girl.
