Point of View Mina:
I'm looking at Alex he told me if he can call me mom
Oh my got I think I'm going to cry
I get teary eyes and nod with a smile
"Yes of course you can", I say
He comes toward me and hugs me and says thank you for adopting me mom
"Alex congratulations buddy you have a new home and mom but maybe she has a boyfriend don't you think", Officer Andrew says almost teasing at the end
"No, I don't have a boyfriend officer Andrew I was always singing and never have time", I say
I sit Alex in my lap and look at Officer Andrew
He wants to say something but does not know-how
"Officer I know that you want to say something please do", I say
"uhm Mina would you like to go out with me and we can take Alex and have some fun", Officer Andrew says getting all red
I laugh a little
"Sure officer but in a week okay I need to talk to the members and talk with social services okay", I say
He nods very happy and with a big smile
"And Mina please call me Andrew", He says a little nervous
"Okay Andrew do you need anything from me or more questions", I say
He starts looking at some papers and looks around
"Yes one question the house when will it be ready, for you and Alex to live there ", He says
"Well I think two days", I says not sure
"Okay I don't think that you are going to like this bit in the meantime we need to take Alex to someone that can take care of him in the meantime", He says
"Can I and Alex stay with Tzuyu or in a hotel", I say
Andrew was thinking and thinking
"I know that you will take care of him but he does not have clothes and other necessities", He says
"Well is still daylight maybe me and him can go for some clothes and other things", I say
Andrew looks at me and smiles
"Okay but you will need to stay in a hotel because what I remember is you told me that you are staying with Tzuyu and your members and you are sharing a room correct", He says
"Okay I will get a room in a hotel", I say
"Okay Mina the Social worker will be here in about a week so please try and learn some Chinese just the basics for now okay, and see you in a week", He says
"Sure take care Andrew and see you around", I say starting to get up with Alex in my arms
"uhm MinacanIhaveyourphonenumber", He says really fast
"huh can you repeat that", I say
"Mina can I have your phone number please", He says getting red again
I pass him my phone so he can put his number, I have already unlocked it
He starts typing and his phone ring
He gives me my phone back and I look at the contact and it says
