chapter twelve ♡

YueMei have been making out in bed under the covers for a little while now. Soon there's a knock at the door but they ignore it and just kiss.
The person walks in and closes the door behind him. He walks up to the bed and opens the covers. He sees how YueMei are and turns around.
Lu Yue- (he pulls away from Luo Mei's lips & they look at each other) God Ming, if that's you? What do you want? We were busy and you interrupted.
God Ming- (he turns back around) Don't worry it is me. I just wanted to come check on you both.
Luo Mei- (looks at God Ming with Lu Yue still looking at her) Were you checking to make sure we're together and that we're both in my room?
Lu Yue- Luo Mei.
God Ming- 我... I knew you would be. Now I know there's no way you'll ever not sleep in the same room. (I... <chinese translation to english)
Luo Mei- Until that time you separated us. I got so used to Lu Yue sleeping next to me every night. That night felt weird. I didn't like it.

He leaves and closes the door on his way out. Luo Mei goes to hold Lu Yue's face.

He tries to get up off her but she stops him by pulling him back.

He goes in her face and she smiles.

He bites her lip, it makes her giggle and he kisses her more. When they pull away Luo Mei is on top of him. She really kissed him and it made him touch his lips.
Lu Yue- Woah. You may be a better kisser than I am.
She gets a little shy and gets up off him. She goes to sit up on the bed, puts her legs up, and her hands on her face. He sits up and goes to her.
Lu Yue- You're getting a little shy. What's that for?
Luo Mei- Handsome thinks I'm a good kisser?
Lu Yue- Well, I do love it when you kiss me. You taste really good. Maybe better than candy.
Luo Mei- (she moves her hands & looks up at him) Lu Yue?! Bad boy.

He goes to pull up his shirt on her and then starts kissing all along her stomach and waist. He bites her and then kisses her more.

He doesn't pull down the shirt she's wearing and just goes straight to kiss her on the lips. He can feel her try to pull the shirt off of his she's wearing up more but he stops her. It involves in him pulling away from her lips.
Lu Yue- Luo Mei. Bad girl.
Luo Mei- (she giggles) When you act like this it makes you manly 𝘢𝘯𝘥 handsome.
He pins her down on the bed and slides his hands in hers.
Lu Yue- Oh really?
Luo Mei- Handsome. How can you be mine?
Lu Yue- I agreed to being your boyfriend. Don't you remember I confessed to you that I felt like I loved you since we met?
Luo Mei- Yes. Handsome was fifthteen when he told me.
Lu Yue- Princess was fourteen when she pursued me.

Lu Yue- (he let's go of her & she slips away from him) Luo Mei.
Luo Mei- I want to go to sleep now.
She goes under the sheets and lays on her left side. He gets in bed with her and goes to her.
Lu Yue- Are you mad at me?
She instantly turns around when he says that and reaches her hand out to touch his cheek.
Luo Mei- No!
Lu Yue- You don't like that talk.
Luo Mei- Don't ever say I can squeeze your hands as tight as I want.
Lu Yue- I'm sorry. I just don't mind it. Because it's you. If it was something else...
Luo Mei- It's okay. But no one else is hurting you. Not as long as I'm here.
Lu Yue- (he goes closer to her) That's my girl.
Luo Mei- I'm all yours... Forever.
Lu Yue- Forever with you sounds like a dream come true.
Luo Mei- That's how I feel.
Lu Yue- (he goes to whisper in her ear) How else do you feel right now?

She goes to try to take off the shirt she's wearing but he stops her and goes straight to kiss her on the lipe. She kisses his back and bites his lip. She holds his face and kisses him more.
Lu Yue- (he touches his lip) Woah. You bit me. Bad girl.
Luo Mei- Handsome deserves to be loved. I will love him for eternity. Also I was calling you hot.
Lu Yue- Now you're giving me chills.
Luo Mei- You love it when I say things like that to you. You're adorable.
Lu Yue- (he goes in her face) You're more adorable.

He goes to set his head on her shoulder and wraps his arms around her.

They fall asleep just like that. A little while later, Luo Mei has a nightmare. Lu Yue went to sleep off on his own. Luo Mei soon wakes up and yells.
Luo Mei- No! No!
Lu Yue- (it wakes him up, he goes to her, & wraps his arms around her) Baby, it's okay. I'm here.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue. Lu Yue.
Lu Yue- I'm here. I'm not letting go. You had a nightmare about me. Someone was hurting me.
Luo Mei- Yes. I couldn't help it. (she goes to wrap her arms around his neck & holds him) I don't want tomorrow to come.
Lu Yue- You're paranoid about tomorrow.
Luo Mei- You know I worry about your safety.
Lu Yue- I know. It will be fine.
Luo Mei- (she looks back at him) Stop saying that. There's no way you can promise that. You don't know.
Lu Yue- You're right. I don't know. But God Ming will be there.
Luo Mei- But... W-what if he... Steps out f-for just a second...
Lu Yue- Baby, you're shaking.
Luo Mei- (tears start to fall down her checks) 你... 我... I c-can't take it... If I can't p-protect you. (she goes to cry on his shoulder) (You... I... <chinese translation to english)
Lu Yue- Luo Mei. Nothing has happened yet. I'm here. I'm okay. Where's my princess?
Luo Mei- (she lifts her head & looks at him) I'm here. I'm handsome's princess.
Lu Yue- (he wipes her tears) Baby, there's no need for tears.
Luo Mei- Sometimes I can't help it. You mean too much to me.
Lu Yue- I know. How about you go back to sleep. I'll be here. I'm not going anywhere.

She goes to lay down and he goes to wrap his arms around her. She ends up falling back to sleep and then there's a silent knock at the door.
The door opens and God Ming walks in. He walks a little towards the bed. He sees that Lu Yue is awake and whispers to him.
God Ming- Is everything okay in here? I heard Luo Mei.
Lu Yue- (he looks up at him) Luo Mei just had a nightmare.
God Ming- About you?
Lu Yue- Yeah.
He let's go of Luo Mei, gets out of bed, and goes up to talk to God Ming.
God Ming- Has she ever had nightmares about you before?
Lu Yue- Honestly. She has but not like this. She's really worried about me.
God Ming- I can tell. When you tell her it's going to be okay, are you meaning it or are you just telling her what she wants to hear?
Lu Yue- What? No. You should know by now I wouldn't do that to her. I do mean it, I'm just not worried like she is.
God Ming- Are you saying it would be worth it?
Lu Yue- If they harm me because of her---
Luo Mei- Lu Yue? Stop talking to God Ming and come back to bed. I need you. I need to hold you.
Lu Yue- I will.
God Ming- Now I know when she wants to hold you so much.
Lu Yue- Yeah. But I love it.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue?! Don't you dare disobey me?! If you do---
Lu Yue- I'm coming.
God Ming- I'm leaving now.
Lu Yue- Okay.
   God Ming leaves and closes the door behind him on his way out. Lu Yue gets back into bed. Luo Mei pulls him to her and puts him in her arms.
Lu Yue- Did you hear everything?
Luo Mei- I did. Lu Yue?! Why would you say getting beat up because of me would be worth it?
Lu Yue- Because... If I have to go through that just to be with you or defend your honor it will be.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue, but...
Lu Yue- I know.
Luo Mei- I don't want you to get hurt just so you can be with me or defend my honor.
Lu Yue- You know I went through a lot so I could be with you how I wanted.
Luo Mei- I'm sorry. I feel like I got mad at you.
Lu Yue- It's okay. There's nothing to be sorry for.
Luo Mei- I love you so much.
Lu Yue- I love you more.
They both fall asleep like that and Luo Mei does have another nightmare. They sleep like that all through the night. They never let go of each other.
