A Chance at Love

You...grubby girl...

A/N: Just so you know I have not watched Cruella like a 1000, you probably have but, I do have a big fat crush on the Baroness- (don't judge me 🤣✋)

"Estella,Jasper,Horace. UP. NOW!" Y/N said as she made breakfast. The trio were like her kids she took them under her wing when they were all young. To be honest, Y/N was closer to Estella than the boys but that didn't mean she loved them any less. Horace could put her into hysterics for a hour, and Jasper could do the same. Honestly, she loved them so much but right now they were on a time crunch. "but mum!" Estella groaned and flailed her arms in protest. Y/N smiled to herself "come on you three we need to go..." she gently shook them they reluctantly got up from the couch. Jasper and Horace were the first to get up from the couch. They quickly ate, while Estella just hugged Y/N and said sleepily. "I don't wanna go...I'm still tired..." she rubbed her eyes. "I know, but we must go, now go eat something. I don't want you going to work on a empty stomach." she booped her on the nose with a smile. Estella nodded and got up, she quickly gobbled up her food like Horace and Jasper.

At the Liberty 

Estella worked hard, while to boys goofed around. Y/N was watching from the counter, she had seen that Estella had gone outside. Y/N's curiosity got the best of her, she quickly followed Estella only to see her throw trash madly in the dumpster which caused it to rip open. 

They had no time to talk because a guard had grabbed both of them and pulled them inside. 

"let go of me!" Estella said rudely she stomped on the mans foot, only a whimper of pain escaped him. Estella growled, she turned to Y/N to tell her to do something, but she just gave her a reassuring look. They met with the boss, but quickly he paused their little 'chat' because someone of importance was about to walk in. You could tell because everyone was moving very quickly. 

"Places everyone, Places! The Baroness will be here soon!" The man clapped his hands signaling to everyone that something important is indeed going to happen.

The Baroness... Both girls thought they looked at each other and ran away since it was the perfect time since all eye were on the door. Jasper had managed to find them under all the sudden commotion. "what are you two doin'? Let's go!" he whisper shouted at them. "The Baroness, we want to see her!" Y/N said keeping her voice down.

"Find the girls..." the man said to the guard and he walked off in one swift moment. 

Everyone suddenly tensed up when the guards arrived, two were in in front, they soon revealed a utterly fabulous woman. She had a poker face on, everyone was scared to even look at her. Only some dared to including the man which was Estella and Y/N's boss.

She strutted inside like she owned the place, she looked around still with the same face the whole time. The man beside her looked kind of scared, but he kept it together. "That's her!" Y/N pointed out with wide eyes. The woman continued walking towards their boss. He looked like hen was absolutely freaking out. "It's better she's distracted. Let's go!" he said trying to pull the girls. "just a little longer!" she whispered to him. He looked at Y/N for any help but she just shrugged in agreement.

"Baroness...!" he said trying to act casual. The woman took off her shades, she looked coldly at the man before saying in a voice that made Y/N weak at the knees.

"Outside...that window display..." she said pointing at it with her glasses every time she said a word.

"I'm so sorry...I can explain- sorry Baroness...get her." he told the guard to get the three. 

"Right, out we go!" they tried crawling away but ended up bumping into guards.

"She's the vandal who messed up the window display..." he said trying to get the pressure on her instead of him. The guard quickly held their hands together, Baroness blushed slightly at Y/N but not enough for anyone to notice at all. "Were dealing with it." He said smiling awkwardly. In the background you could hear Estella trying to break free but, she wasn't able.

"So, she works here...?" the Baroness was internally disappointed but she kept her poker face on the outside.

"Oh no, she was fired, yeah I'm trying to give these wretches a chance but uhm- breeding" the man snorted but the Baroness gave him a emotionless face. Though inside she was disappointed, Y/N saw that and quickly took note of it.

"need I say more, hah" he tried making her laugh. Though she only responded after taking a deep breathe in, "So, she doesnt work here." she replied plainly but inside she was quite happy. The man had made a face before leaning in to her ear to respond "Uh- I'm convinced I- Uh-" he tried getting in a few more words but failed to do so. The Baroness had moved her head ever so slightly away and said. "You're sweating, and I can smell you..." the man pulled away embarrassed. The Baroness turned around to face Y/N, 

"You, grubby girl" she said before looking at her PA and said something else.

"Yes?" she smiled though sheen's being pressed onto the counter. The Baroness blushed a bit, the girls voice sounded like the softest silk known to man. 

"Jeffery. Card." she said to her PA looking back at the girls direction. She locked eyes with the girl, she quickly looked away to pretend to look at something. "Card" she heard the boss dude scoff, she smirked.

"You're hired. This address. Don't. Be. Late." he quickly looked around to try and find a place he could put it. "uhm, teeth! Teeth!" he put the card in the girls mouth with a look of disgust across his face.

The Baroness gave the guards a very cold glare. They let go of Jasper and Estella but didn't let go of Y/N she gave them a even harder glare. They automatically let go, her eyes looked like she was burning a hole through the men. Y/N, Estella, and Japer took this as a sign to run. They stop outside the building to take a breather. Y/N was ease dropping on the Baroness was having with her old boss. 

"You're a fool, that girl put on a better window display than I've seen here for 10 years." she said it with complete confidence never once stuttering her words. She put her sunglasses back on.

"God, it's all so depressing..." she said as she turned her head to view every inch of the store. She looked back to find the girl looking at her. She smirked and turned away strutting farther into the store. 

"Y/N, let's go!" Estella said tugging on her arm. "Ok, ok! Coming!" they all ran to the bus and sat down. Y/N realized that the card was still in between her teeth. She took a look at it and squealed internally.

She was finally going to live out her dreams...
