Siya laying in the hostel bed thinking about something.
S- Kya karu...
The phone rings.
On the call. {POC:person on call}
S- Hello...who's this?
POC- Hey! It's me Rishi.
Siya sits up straight with a jerk.
S- H..hi..
She fumbled a little.
R- Wanted to ask you something.
S - Umm... yeah go ahead...
R- Can we hang out tonight? Just the two of us?
Siya couldn't believe her ears.
She ended the call abruptly.
Where else Rishi was tensed with the thought that Siya doesn't even want to be his friend.
R- I just lost her because of my stupidity!
He hit his hand on the glass flowerpot. It broke and shattered, just like Rishi.
His hand started to bleed and Rishi sat on the floor with a thud. He had tears in his eyes.
His voice lost grip he was speaking to himself in a vulnerable tone and he felt like the unhappiest person on Earth.
Rishi picked a glass piece which shimmered with his blood.
He looked through the piece as he spoke bitterly about love.
R- Pyaar vyaar kuch nahi hota. Sab jhoote hain. Koi kisi se pyaar nahi karta....
Ya shayad karta hai, par mujhse nahi. Koi mujhe pasand nahi karta...
Kya main itna bura hu?
He questioned himself.
Just then Mohsin barged into the room with a tensed expression.
M- Rishhh!
He saw his state and took him in a hug above him.
M- Kya hua Rishi??
He caressed his cheek.
M- Bol na kya hua? Yaar tu kuch bolta kyu nahi!!
A teary-eyed Mohsin kept asking him.
R- Siya ne gusse mein phone kaat diya...
Mohsin for a second, thought what's such a big deal in that but then he remembered about the past incidents in Rishi's life.
Mohsin recalled the past when Rishi broke down earlier.
To be honest everytime this happened there was only Mohsin to keep Rishi stable. Only he knew what Rishi had gone through.
M POV: I heard a sound of something breaking when I was down I got scared when I remembered that Rishi was in the room alone!
I rushed towards our room!
A/N; Also they were roommates.
I wanted to call out on Rishi's name when I reached the threshold, I couldn't even hold myself when I saw my brother, my bestfriend lying on the ground sulking.
I hurried to him and kept asking for answers but didn't get any. After stressing a lot he spoke about Siya hanging the call without a word! I was surprised because I never thought Siya would give such a harsh reaction to Rishi. Instead I thought she liked him too.
POV ends.
On the other side
Siya was in another zone and she started dancing.
S- Oh my goddd! Yes! Yes! Yes!
She was jumping on the bed hugging a pillow and Shivangi entered. She saw her in that position.
Sh- Abbey moti kahin ki neeche utarr!
Aur pillow de mera!
She grabbed it from her.
Sh- Kya hua? Phudakk kyu rahi hai?
Siya told her everything.
Shivangi was shocked to hear what Siya told her.
Sh- Are you mad?!
S-What?
Siya was still not getting the point.
Sh- Arey gaandi !!
She acted like fainting.
S- Ayy!! Gaali nhi dena ka haa...maine bhi gaaliyon ka PhD course kiyela hai zyada shaanpatti nhi!
Sh- Arey mhaari maa gaandi gaali nathi!
(Gaandi is not a curse word) Gaandi ka matlab paagal hota hai.
S-Oohhhh....
Par maine kya kiya?
Sh-Arey woh tere chuppi ko na samajh ke baitha hoga na.
Shivangi slapped her own forehead.
S- Ohh shit!!
Sh- Ab jaa bhi use bata bhi de ki tu use pasand karti hai.
S- Par aise kaise?!!
Sh- Abhi woh sab sochne ka time nahi jaldi jaa uske paas! Phir jab woh saamne hoga toh keh dena ki tu ready hai.
Note: Siya had dressed up already in excitement.
On the other side
Rishi asked Mohsin to make coffee for him he reluctantly agreed as he wanted him to feel better.
He went to the kitchen and got busy with the coffee.
Not waiting another second he got up and moved out of the house like as if it was planned.
Walking he came down now blood shot eyes smiling foolishly cursing his fate he took swift but dandling steps.
On the other side
Siya, not giving it a second thought picked her sandals up she wore them on the way.
She rushed down she gave a full smile when she saw him from behind and quickened her pace she almost ran after him.
She grew closer to him something wasn't right. It looked weird and suspicious.
There he's walking lifelessly on the road the Vehicles didn't stop nor did he.
She followed him she was in the middle of the road when he reached almost the end of the road and....
Siya's heart came up to her mouth when she saw a lorry coming towards him in full speed and what shocked her was him.
He stopped just there looked like the truck driver didn't care either. He was busy on his phone and just a few metres away from Rishi.
