Memoirs of My Heart - Poetess's note

Welcome my amazing readers,

While I was writing the first few drafts of my first novel on Wattpad, which is still unpublished, I thought why not let you readers see some of my other work.

I enjoy writing poems, perhaps a bit more than prose, because I feel they convey feelings more gracefully.

These poems have been written over a span of several years, since the time I was 12 years old. That's why, some of the initial poems may seem a bit unrefined, but please bear with them. I didn't want to edit them because to be sincere, I wanted to retain the charm of the original work. Besides, isn't it wonderful to experience this journey of years, trials and errors, through the magic of words written over the years of growing up?

If you like the poems and could connect to them on some level, and really enjoy them, please vote for them.

This may sound clichéd now, but it really is very inspiring to see people appreciating your work.

The poems are not interconnected, so feel free to read the ones you like first.

I know a lot of people don't like to read poetry as much as novels, but that's alright as long as I have the support of my amazing readers! For all the others, I urge you to read at least one piece, then decide if you want to go ahead.

I am learning and trying to get better which each successive poem. And your votes and comments just take me a step closer towards realizing my dreams.
