A single flower,
Can be my garden.
A single friend,
Can be my world.
A single touch,
Can be my care.
A single smile,
Can be my affection.
A single hand,
Can be my support.
A single moment,
Can stir my heart.
A single ring,
Can be my life.
A single person,
Can be my universe.

Hello my dear friends,
The above lines were some of my initial attempts at writing poetry.
I wrote this when I was 14 and young and still figuring out the ways of the world.
I haven't refined it or edited any line from the original draft, because I wanted it to have that simplistic charm to it.
I would love to hear your first attempts at writing anything, a poem, an essay or even a simple letter to someone.
Tell me guys, how was your first experience at these things?
I'll be waiting to hear from you. Do share your stories in the comments section.
Its a wonderful way to connect with you readers, to get a tiny glimpse of your lives, and it just makes the world feel like a more connected place!
Also, please vote for these poems, if you like my work.
Some of the poems can be a bit short while others can be a bit long.
Sometimes, it doesn't take a lot of words to express some emotions.
While other times, for some emotions, lines and lines feel incomplete.
So, please bear with me and be patient with the length, my amazing readers.
You guys are wonderful!
Lots of Love,
Saroj Singh
xoxo :-) ;-)
