Q1. Where is the story based/located?
A1. So basically, everyone is in Seoul, South Korea. The story is like the English translation of Korean dialogues. Does that make sense lol? In chapter 7 pt2 there is a line where Jihoon and his driver say formal 'yes'. This doesn't make sense in English language to an extent but if you think of it as in Korean, it translates to like yes and yeah. The former being a formal one and latter informal. Also, the ages of the kids are by international system.
Q2. Are BTS still idols in this?
A2. Nope, they're not. So, the entire scenario is actually set in future but ofc I can't predict future and delving into future societal scenarios would be too much of work and at most times would lead to more confusion and distraction, therefore I decided to keep the world just as it is today but only BTS is like in future. The timeline isn't entirely logical.
Q3. If they ain't idols then what do they do?
A3. So, for this lemme give you guys a precise list.
Seokjin: owns a chain of restaurants, vlogger Yoongi: music producer for HYBE Hoseok: owns an upscale dance studio with Jimin, specialising in both contemporary and hip-hop dance form. He also owns a fashion line specialising in bags and accessories in collaboration with his sister and owns 57% shares of it. Namjoon: lyricist and composer for HYBE Jimin: owns 60% share of the studio as well as a martial arts training academy specialising in 5 types of martial arts. Taehyung: actor and owns a popular music institute. Jungkook: MV director at HYBE Labels
Apart from their separate careers, they also occasionally make music together or individually. They are also major shareholders of HYBE Labels and presidential envoys. They are respected and globally recognised for their career, charity and views & work towards various social issues. They still occasionally do interviews and are invited to award shows and are sometimes invited on variety shows as special guests. Their public appearances are managed by a separate group of trusted and capable people at HYBE Labels.
Q4. What school do the kids got to?
