Seokjin/Ari [11] (moderate)
It is 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening, and Ari sighs in annoyance as her mother yet again tells her to hurry up for her martial arts classes. She is being increasingly difficult today and it all began since last night, when she had asked her father for permission to stay over at a friend for the night, and her usually lenient father, who hardly ever tells her 'No', had in fact said exactly that- "No." She hadn't even argued with him much, just walked away, that's how shocked she was. She pouts at the memory as she gets ready at an agonizingly slow pace, ignoring the urges of her mother and the sheer impatience of her elder sister.
"God, Ari! I swear if you don't hurry up, am going to leave you here and go alone!", Aecha threatens, yelling and impatiently tapping her foot. She is sitting on a soft brown couch that adds an elegant contrast to the white, spacious living room. The entire house is mostly white with subtle pops of brown, gold and few other colors that adds to the overall elegance of the space. Aecha is there with her arms crossed and an annoyed look on her pretty face. She's beautiful with a small face, plump lips, straight brows, and big, pretty eyes.
"I said am coming!", Ari yells back. She is an equally beautiful one, her eyes are exactly like her father's as opposed to her sister who got them from their mother. Her nose and lips almost mirror her sister's, and she too has a small face which is a bit rounder than her sister, yet her features are sharper around her brows and her jaw.
"Ari, she's right. Hurry up or you both will be late", Hana, their mother, warns.
"Yeah, she's always right", Ari utters sarcastically, making sure to drawl the word 'always' to add in the extra touch of sass.
Their mother instantly frowns at that. She had been patient with her little daughter's attitude all morning while she was sulking over last night's events, but quite frankly her blatant disrespect and baseless insinuations was getting rather annoying.
"Stop making excuses, honey. You know you are running late and that's it. Quit sulking and come out right now", she calls out sternly and Ari slams open the door of her room and stomps down the stairs, to the living room.
Aecha looks at her and her face twists in exasperation, "Seriously, girl? You were putting on makeup!? Why would you waste time wearing Sephora when you are going to sweat like a freaking marathon runner in Sahara!?" She yells. She had been waiting for her all dressed and ready, for half an hour after all.
Ari rolls her eyes, "It's Fenty and I do whatever I want. Now you wanna go or you wanna sit here and nitpick?"
"Mom, stop her or else-"
"Else what, huh?"
"Both of you! Let me enjoy at least a couple of peaceful hours of my weekend. Get out! You'll be punished there if you are late", their mother scolds with a reminder, feeling quite exhausted by the constant bickering of the two teenage girls.
The girls glare at each other but at last, begrudgingly throw a "bye, mom", over their shoulder as they walk out of the door, and into the elevator. Their car, with its driver already awaits them, and they quickly rush in, realizing that they might get late if they don't hurry up.
Hana sighs in relief as the elevator door closes and a few minutes later Aecha's text pops up on her phone, informing her that they were on their way to the academy.
Finally. She thinks as she puts on some good music and settles down on the couch with Netflix and wine to enjoy the couple hours of peace and quiet.
