The Other Half

#Author's Note: A REFERENCE

Hi all,

I understand that my writing structure might create confusion about timelines and there's a lot that will happen now that it's the big day. The aftermath, too. Hence, for the purpose of a quick reference I am posting which major incidents happened in which year.

Our story starts in 1930s. Yes, that's right. Took me so long to finalize ages and dates and durations of everything that yes, it's in the 1930s that the oldest incident will be referred to.

Events

1930s: The firstborn Raizada is murdered in a conspiracy. The secondborn Raizada marries a Kashyap. The thirdborn Raizada, conceiving a son out of wedlock, moves to Lucknow.

1960s: Devyani Sinha befriends Subhadra Dixit. They promise their firstborn to each other.

1975: Subhadra Malik, the queen of Lucknow, gains a Raizada bahu and meets a prophet to only discover that her firstborn lineage is doomed.

Births and Marriages

1978: Shyam is born

1979: Anjali is born

1982: Manorama Wardha marries Mahendra Singh Raizada and Nand Kishore Rathore is born

1983: Arnav and Advay(Dev Kashyap) are born

1984: Akash is born

1985: Lavanya is born

1986: Khushi and Payal and Pooja are born

1987: Chandani Vashishth is born, and promised to Dev Kashyap.

1989: Meghna is born

1991: Rajveer and Shikha are born

Events Again

1995: Shiv Temple's solar eclipse where Kunal and Geeta Kashyap die, leading to Meeku being adopted by the Khans and Dev to take up his rightful name Advay Singh Raizada when he starts living with Gayatri Rathore's family.

1997: Sheesh Mahal's lunar eclipse where Arvind and Ratna Malik die, leading to Anjali and Arnav being cast out by Subhadra Malik, in the name of boycott. (More details in story)

Shyam Manohar Jha returns from law school to learn the love of his life has been outcast and has no way to track her. (More details in story)

~An interlude to explain the sequence of events in Kumbh 1999~

Mahira Wardha, Manorama's elder sister, senses Raizada blood. Seeing Arnav she realizes that Advay is present at the same place. She casts her version of the protection spell. But she misses her target when an erratic Khushi crashes into her.

Khushi, being a Gupta, channels the magic because she was never a target and learns to control her magic, later. Khushi sees Arnav, then Advay.

Payal, being Khushi's twin, is affected and becomes her sister's protector in every sense. She sees Pooja, then Arnav, then Advay, then Arnav and Akash, then NK and Advay.

Khushi hears Chandani but she is 13, so she doesn't understand the complexity of her brain.

NK sees Arnav.

~End of interlude~

2000: Sashi Gupta moves to Delhi when his daughters don't show any affinity to nature, with a little help from the community head.

2001: Arnav goes to Harvard, Advay to Sydney

2002: Pooja enrolls in DPS Delhi, and meets Payal and Khushi

2004: AR Designs is established in Delhi and Advay Singh Raizada takes control of Raizada Industries in Mumbai

2006: PK Designs is established

2008: Khushi becomes the ever elusive K

2009: Meghna starts seeing Manish Kapoor, and signs up for a substitute professor job. Shikha and Meeku start dating.

2010: Shilpa finds out that Chandani is in danger, and tries to contact Advay. No dice.

2011: That Sunday:
Khushi, tired of the ever elusive ASR, takes it upon herself to find out who the fuck he is. She crashes his show in Delhi(yes, not Seesh Mahal. This has been updated, yes, for including some other epic scenes in story) and falls flat on his arms on her discovery.

There is a moment of discovery which both know but cannot admit to. (Details in story)

He throws her in a green room to be questioned, because right then he doesn't who she is. Khushi, being forgettable, easily escapes. However, something did happen that makes her question things, so instead of going home, she goes to Allahabad.

Monday:
Payal feels anxious, then horrified, then apprehensive as she discovers that ASR is Advay's twin. Events lead to the entwinement of both the twins.

Shyam Manohar Jha, knowing Advay is coming to Shantivan, goes to Lucknow to meet Subhadra Malik.

Tuesday:
Shyam and Subhadra discuss the upcoming events, with emphasis that something worse is coming.

Shyam lets Aman know that Meghna Vashishth is under Indrani's control, with promise of a payback.

Midday, Chandani discovers that Khushi is K, and in the evening that Advay is Dev

Wednesday:
Khushi loses her cool and tells Chandani of the past. Meghna takes her side, as it's the truth. The power of the stone is revealed to the girls.

Rajveer discovers the family trees book and is apprehensive about the facts stated, as it coincides with his birth and name.

Mahira Wardha ascertains that the time is still not right for the removal of her spell.

Thursday:
Khushi discovers that she can channel the stone's magic in more ways than they know of. Advay is contacting Mrs Awasthi and Mahira Wardha to get to the bottom of it
