{Aether's POV}
I awoke the next morning to the sound of birds chirping and the bright light from the sun shining directly in my eyes. Lumine must have forgot to close the blinds. Typical Lumine. I turn to the side and grab my phone, turning it on the be met with the last photo took of me and Lumine with our parents. I look up at the I'me to notice its only 6:12 am. I don't need to leave for at least an hour so i have time to spare.
After listening to music for a while and drawing i decide to go for a shower quickly before school. By the time I'm done and come out it's already 7:25am, the last thing i need to do is my hair. I make my way over to my dresser and grab the hair brush along with a hair tie but instead of doing my hair like i should be i stand there. No no no Aether. You were fine all morning! I slap myself across the face to try snap out of my negative thoughts, dropping the hair brush in the process.
"Aether? Are you okay up there?" Lumine calls up at me.
"Uh- yeah I'm fine!"
"Okay well hurry up we have to get going or we'll both be late!"
"Okay! I'm coming, two minutes!" I shout down before grabbing the brush and fixing my hair into its normal braid before grabbing my bag ad rushing downstairs.
"You got everything?"
"Yeah i think so- Agh! I left my phone!" I say before rushing back up the stairs to grab my phone. I come back down to see Lumine laughing so before she can say anything I'm out the door and into the car. She follows behind me and before i know it we're going towards Teyvat High.
Lumine pulls up in the car park off the school and turns towards me. She pulls me into a hug after seeing my face plastered with fear and worry, i hug back and we stay like that for a while. It's still pretty early school doesn't start until 8:30am and its only 7;54 am meaning there aren't much people here. I pull away from the hug, take a deep breath in and let it out again.
"Feeling better?" She asks from beside me. I simply nod my head in response to which she smiles. "You got this!" She exclaims with a huge smile which makes me smile in response. We say our goodbyes ad i exit the car to be greeted with Mr. Barbados, a teacher from my old school who ended up getting a new job here, and he smiles.
"Aether! How have you been?" He says as he hugs m and i hug back.
"Good thank you."
"That's great to here! Come on I've got someone i want you to meet!" I nod and he leads me away inside the school building. Mr. Barbados has known me since i was born. Even though he was quite a bit younger than my parents they were great friends for years and when they passed he insisted i stayed off school for my mental health. Not long after he was offered a new job here so he took it, then after finding out i was transferring here you could imagine how excited he was. Eventually he said that he would make sure i got there okay. He said he had met all of the teachers i had this year so he could introduce me to them.
"Heya!" He exclaims as he flings open the door o one of the History class rooms. He struts in and I simply follow not knowing what to do and when i enter i see three people. Two adults which i assume are teachers and someone in the back row of the classroom playing on their phone with earphones in. The sun light reflects off their round glasses along with the many earrings on their ear. I stare in aww for a few minutes, my heart beating fast and my palms getting sweaty. I snap out of my trance and turn to where Mr. Barbados and the other adults are to notice the two looking at me. Oh god! Please tell me they didn't see me staring at that person. Agh! That would be s embarrassing! Especially when i don't even know them! The adult with he brown hair and brown-ish waist got stands up and walks towards me.
