8 - Dad!

Y/n POV

"What's with that smirk?", I asked after noticing his smirk while speaking. "Nothing!", He giggled inaudibly. "You're crazy!", I said as he just nodded. "I know!", I widened my eyes. "Bro! Do you really have a thing called brain?", he laughed. "Bro?", he asked raising his eyebrows. "Yeah then what else?", he smirked. "You're really drunk I guess", i told when I noticed his evil smirk. he acted like he was thinking something. "Hmm, I think I am", I just couldn't say anything further so I just stayed quite. "Why?! Did I something wrong?", he acted like he didn't knew anything. "What's your problem now? Stop annoying me!", He just glared. "You!!! You're my problem, understood?", You gasped.

"Then, stop the car, let me go by myself!!", I held his arm, preventing him to drive further. "Hey its okay, I was just joking around, calm down!", He rested his hand on my lap, friendly. I yanked it away and looked at the road, angrily. "Aishh! Stop it now, the air conditioner in my car isn't working, so stop being angry, it's making me feel hot", I just laughed secretly. "Now stop laughing and tell the direction, are we going to the end of this world by just driving straight", I laughed again. "Take left from the next road", he nodded.

I sighed and went inside the house after seeing his car vanishing from my sight. I went to kitchen to eat something and found some noodles, I quickly prepared it and ate. I went to my room after cleaning and slept hugging my pillow which I'm addicted to. Yes, I love sleeping while hugging something.

"It's not fair Y/n, you're telling me this late", he pouted. "But Yoongi I didn't had enough time to tell you about this, you know even now, I have work!", He sighed. "Okay fine then, but you know? I'm really happy for you, working in the most popular Jeon companies isn't that easy, so don't overwork and take care, okay?".

"Yeah I'll surely, btw I would like to give you a treat this Sunday, that is tomorrow, will you be able to come?", I asked as he giggled. "I can Y/n, don't worry I'll be there on time"..... "ok then, I'll tell the location and time tomorrow itself, bye for now", I end the call after hearing a 'bye!' From him. I sighed finally getting our of my house. I wonder how did he get to know about My work.

I reached to office as soon as possible so that I can go to my father's house. I sat on my table doing my work. Just when Jungkook stood infront of the workers which dragged everyone's attention. "Guys!! I have something good to tell you!!! As the recent project was approved by Jung's company, I planned to arrange a party at a restaurant, location will be sent to everyone. You all are invited!! It's on Monday evening 7pm", He told as everyone cheered. I smiled when he looked at me. He smiled and left.

I was done with my work, so I stood up and walked.
I slowly stood infront of the Door, taking a deep breath, I knocked. "Come in!!", He shouted from the other side for which I entered inside the cabin. "Oh Y/n! It's you? What's that matter?", he asked typing something in his desktop. I looked down fiddling my fingers. "Huh? What's wrong?", he asked again eyeing me from head to toe. I looked at me in confusion when he didn't receive any answer from me. "Uhmm, Mr. Jeon... can I leave?", I asked gathering all of my courage.

"Huh? Why tho? It's still 6pm!", He told looking at his wrist watch. "Mr. Jeon! I have to go to my father's house, so... can I leave early today? I have finished my work already", I told confidently. "Hmm... okay but this shouldn't repeat everytime, you have the permission only for today", he told sternly looking at me confused but his gaze was so sharp. I slowly nodded. "Yes sir, thank you so much!". I said happily chuckling. He smiled secretly and went back to his work as I left from there almost jumping in happiness.

It was so hard for me to ask about this to him because I've seen him being so strict at working hours. I walked all the way to my father's house, it isn't too far from my work place.

I knocked on the door smiling only to found my step sis opening opening door. "H-Hi, Suzy", I lightly smiled at her. "Oh! You? Mom!!! Look who is here!!", She shouted when my step mom came out from the kitchen. She looked at me sarcastically. "Oh! Y/n you here? Come inside dear!", my dad came behind my step sis smiling. My eyes filled with tears when I saw him. "Suzy!!!! Let her inside", he yelled at Suzy. She just rolled her eyes and backed away. I walked inside hugging my dad. He then made me sit  on the couch after breaking the hug."Y/n, how are you dear?", he asked but I was unable to answer as my eyes were filled with tears.

I could feel my heart becoming heavy seeing him. I was never able to stay with him, even if did, I would end up hurted because of my step mom and sis. I always wished for staying with him but he made me stay alone so that I won't get hurt, but he doesn't know that it hurts even more staying far from him. "Y/n? What wrong?", he asked when didn't hear me saying anything. "Uh! This bitch is being dramatic now!!", Suzy told standing infront of us. I looked up at her with my teary eyes, "Suzy!!! Just go inside!! Don't disturb us!", He yelled as she rolled her eyes and went towards the kitchen where my step mom was.

"Y/n? You wanted to tell me something right? Go on dear!", I nodded. "Dad! I got a job in most famous company, Jeon Companies. I am so happy dad, and that's what I wanted to share with you!", He smiled widely. "What? Really? Y/n, I'm really proud of you dear! I'm so happy for you rn", he told smiling widely. "Suzy!!!!", He shouted when she came out from the kitchen with disguised face so did my step mom. "Go and bring a glass of water!!", She nodded smirking and went to bring it for me.

"It's okay Dad! I think I should leave!", His expression became sad. "Y/n, you just came and want to leave so soon? Stay here for tonight!", I widened my eyes. "What? No dad! I can't I have work, please don't force me dad!", He looked down in sadness. "Take this bitch!", Suzy told giving me the glass of water. I hesitantly took it from her. I gulped all of them and gave back the glass to her. Instead of leaving, she purposely left the glass from her hand, making it shatter into pieces when fell down. I got a cut in my foot and started bleeding. I just didn't showed any expression because I didn't wanted to create any scenes here.

My dad didn't tell anything but just sighed. "I'm really very sorry Y/n, I can't treat you well because of some people! Sorry", he looked down. "Dad!! It's nothing like that, it's okay!! I'm leaving now", I said and stood up. "Okay Y/n, wish everything goes well", I smiled and nodded. With that I left.
