33 - Shifting?!

Author POV

"Wake up!! We have to leave to Seoul!!", You said arranging your stuffs in your suitcase. "Huh?? But aren't we supposed to leave tonight? Why so early??", I asked her confusedly. "I don't care but i want to go!! Take me now!!", You said staring at him blankly but your voice was whiny a little making him chuckle. "Nothing's funny here!! Take me there now!! P-Please!", You tried to act cold but at end you pleaded him. His eyes soften hearing a 'Please' from you. He gently yet softly held your hand and made you sit on the bed, infront of him.

"Princess!! What's wrong hmm? Why are you asking to go back so suddenly?", His voice was softer than the bed you were sitting on. "I want to see my father rn!!!", You looked away hiding your smile infront of his calming voice in which you were successful. He quickly cupped your cheeks and gently caressed your one cheek. "Don't worry Y/n!! We will go tonight ok? And if you're willing to meet him by those people who talked bad your father then don't! You know right? No one else know about your father better than you!! So please stay calm and wait till tonight hmm?!", He said very calming in his soothing voice making you calm down a little. He then pecked your lips softly and smiled sweetly.

Yes, he was right. Nobody else knows about your father better than you! Not even that Suzy. You looked down. You realised and rubbed your lips looking at him angrily and went to the other side of the bed, leaning on the headboard and started scrolling on your phone. Jungkook pouted and stood up, keeping the suitcase aside and went towards the bathroom.

-Next Day-
-2:35 pm-

Nothing special happened yesterday but just his comforting words, soothing voice, warm embrace and many little calming actions. But from you was the same angry rejections of his kisses, hugs and etc,. those sad pouts and some hurted thoughts. Today you were sitting on your bed scrolling as you didn't go to work today. Yes, you only told Jungkook that you'll not be coming to the work and he accepted it without hesitation. Even he didn't had much work today as his schedule of today didn't had any important appointment or something. And Yeah! After his work he decided he will take CaRe of those people who hurted you.

You were having many messy thoughts, only if you hadn't got those comforting words from Jungkook, you would've already stayed in your father's house rn. But because of your thoughts, you were unable to stay calm so you just stood up sighing. You quickly wore your jacket and left.

You weren't feeling like to drive so you just decided to walk till where you wanted to go.

Finally, after walking for long, you stood infront of the place where you wanted to go. You sighed finally feeling your eyes welling up. You walked forward and knocked on the door. The figure which you wanted to see from long finally came infront of you, his surprised face made you feel so relaxed seeing him. All the love flowed through your tears. He immediately let you in. "D-Dad!! How a-are you?", You asked with your cracking voice with the teary eyes. "Y/n d-dear! I'm f-fine sweetie! H-how are you hmm?", His voice sounded same like you, cracking.

"I'm fine D-Dad!!", He smiled. "D-Dad!! I don't know how to start but please know that I always love you even tho i won't stay with you!!", His eyes were glistening in because of the tears. "Y/n!! I know why you're saying like this so Don't!! Don't get Suzy's words in your head!! You know? I actually left them when I got to know that she hurted you!! So don't ever speak like that my daughter hm??", I nodded my head while shredding tears of joy.

You had no one who loved you like your father but sadly, you couldn't feel how it would be when your father shows his love towards you, now you felt like you had got all the happiness in your life. "And dear!! Can I ask you something?", He asked with hopeful eyes for which you nodded. "From now on, you don't have to go away getting scared of anyone!! You can stay here! With your Appa!!", That's it! You were beyond happiness!! You quickly hugged your father. "Sure dad!! I'm the happiest one to do that!!", You said as he grinned happily.

"Then wait!! I'll send some maids to bring all of your stuffs here!!", You shook your head. "No Dad!! Let me go!! I'll pack everything and come!!", He nodded after thinking for few seconds. You smiled.

Y/n POV

Finally, i sighed climbing in my bed and laying down leaving a heavy breathe. Everything was shifted and i was very happy rn but all my thoughts diverted to J-Jungkook. I m-miss him, but is he even thinking about me the same way I'm doing rn? Was the question which tangled up your mind. You bit your inner lip in nervousness and sighed again. But after a while, my phone started ringing and saw that Jungkook was calling me. I picked it up only to hear his cracking and trembling voice.

Jungkook POV

I came back outside and held my hairs in frustration, I can't find Y/n in her house. Just now I came back from my work directly to her house but she isn't here. The door is locked, nobody's responding even after ringing the bell several times. I'm getting worried. I quickly called her and thankfully she picked it up. "Y/n!!! Baby!! Are you okay? Where are you huh? Tell me Y/n!!", I spoke out as soon as she picked up the call with my cracking voice. "I'm in my dad's house!!", She said blankly. "Okay send me the location, RIGHT NOW!!", i yelled being panicked as she just hummed and hung up. I sighed heavily hearing her voice which seemed safe.

After a while, she sent me the locations en without wasting any time, i quickly rushed towards the house.
Author POV: you were actually scared of his voice which seemed panicked so you sent the location. You were freaking out from inside being worried but tried to act cool.

Back to Jk's POV

As soon as I reached my destination, i rushed towards entrance and took deep breaths. I knocked that door only to find a man in his 50s opening the door looking at me confused. "Hello! Who are you?", He asked politely after greeting. Not wanting to be a bad person infront of him, i bowed respectfully. "Hello Sir! I'm Y/n's boss and I'm here to meet her, can i?", I asked as he just furrowed. "Is this the working hours?! Can you meet her professionally right now!!", He asked calmly. Whoa! My father-in-law is a possessive yet responsible father. I thought. "Yes, Sir it is working hours and i can't meet her professionally!!". He smiled lightly and let me in.

Not showing my tensed state, i went upto her room which was guided my Mr. Min and entered in her room after knocking while Mr. Min left from there. I entered in and saw her laying on her bed, but she quickly stood up as soon as she saw me. I rushed towards her and stood infront of her while my anger took over me. "What the hell do you think of yourself Y/n?!! Why didn't you informed me that you're gonna shift in here. Do you even know how worried and panicked i was?!! What did i even do that you're acting like this huh? I know that you've suffered alot because of me and i seriously regret that, why can't you  understand that?!!", I spoke ina bit high voice making sure that Mr. Min won't hear me. But her reaction made me worried and hurt too.
