"Alright! Today's the day guys!" Luz sprang up from the pile of trashed valentines cards underneath her.
"Uh yeah well- That's what you said yesterday.." Gus informed.
"And the day before that."
"And the day before that."
"And the day befo-"
"Ok, ok I get I've thought it was the day a biiiiit too many times.. But today I REALLY think it's the day!"
"So you're not going to change your mind and run off again, right?" Willow asked, raising an eyebrow.
Luz gasped, looking somewhat offended.
"Never! Well, not today! Today is Valentine's Day! I can't do that on Valentine's Day! Today is the PERFECT day to ask Amity out!" Luz stood up on the couch, pumping her fist in the air.
Gus and Willow looked at each other in confusion.
Luz noticed this and asked, "...You guys have Valentine's Day or something similar to Valentine's Day in the boiling isles, right?"
"Nope." The two witches said in unison.
"..Oh.. Well, Valentine's Day is a day of LOVE"
The two witches raised an eyebrow, confused.
"Y'know, couples go out, do cute things for each other, maybe even gift their partner some cute stuffed bear or something."
"Sounds cringy." Gus said bluntly.
"I think it'd be cute!" Willow added.
"Well, even if you guys don't have Valentine's Day in the boiling isles, I'm going to ask out Amity and set up the perfect day!"
30 minutes later, at Hexide
"..I can't do this." Luz said with pure fear on her face as she peeked her head around the corner, spotting the Blight.
She couldn't help but blush. Whenever Luz saw amity, she was always in a state of shock from how beautiful Amity was. Any little thing from smiling to laughing would send a wave of pure gay panic through Luz's body. She was always caught looking like a tomato around Amity. She couldn't help it!
"But you were so confident like.. 30 minutes ago!" Gus whisper-shouted, trying not to alert Amity.
"Yeah, what happened?" Willow asked, tilting her head a little.
"I don't know! I was so confident and really thought I could do it but once I saw her I just- AGH I DONT K—"
"What are you guys shouting about?" A familiar voice was heard walking towards them.
...It was non other than Amity Blight.
"AH- I mean- hey amity!-" Luz said as she put her elbow against the wall, trying to play it cool.
"Smooth." Gus whispered.
"Hey amity, there's something Luz wanted to tell you." Willow looked at Luz with a smug look.
"I- Uhm-" Luz was now a gay, panicking, blushing mess.
Amity tilted her head, looking too innocent for Luz's heart to handle.
