Wesker had woken up early, leaving the house to get ready at his home. He always had to be at work first. Even if someone was to leave before him, he would somehow still be there before them. After getting ready and leaving his home, he arrived at work, going straight to his office. Not too long later, Chris showed  up. He must've woken up after Wesker left. Today was hopefully going to be a better day than the rest. Things have been stressful lately but he wouldn't let that ruin this. He was given the opportunity to see his old teammates again. So he wouldn't let this go to waste. Speaking of his teammates, they all started to arrive, of course not all at the same time. "Gotta admit, it's kinda weird to see you here everyday on time or even early." Joseph mumbled, talking to Chris. "Hey, I'm a changed man." Joseph laughed, causing Chris to smile. "You got a woman keeping you in line?" Forest teased. Rebecca looked at Richard, shaking her head, knowing what he was about to do. "Or a man." Richard mumbled, unable to hold back a smirk. Rebecca face palmed, sighing softly. "Sorry. Didn't mean to assume." Forest responded, thinking that's what he meant. Jill squinted her eyes at Richard, knowing that he knew something. Barry raised an eyebrow but said nothing. And Brad, well, he tried to stay out of the conversation, doing his work to avoid Wesker's scolding. "Guys, he was only teasing. I'm sure that Chris is just trying to...improve his working skills." Rebecca defended. Chris sighed in relief. Though he was left to wonder if Rebecca and Richard knew. How would they have known? They didn't see him and Wesker kiss. "What is going on?" Wesker asked, causing most of them to jump. "Good morning, Captain Wesker. We're just trying to figure out who Chris is-ouch!" Rebecca nudged Joseph. "Sorry, sir. We were just talking about how Chris shows up on time now." Wesker hummed softly, nodding even though he knew that was only partially the truth. He looked over at Chris, "Christopher, come into my office when you're done with your work." He instructed before heading back to his office. "Ooooh you're in trouble." Richard teased. "No I'm not. Why do you always assume that I'm in trouble?" "Because you're a troublemaker sometimes." Barry answered for him. Richard bursted out into laughter as Chris looked at Barry, faking being offended. "That's rude of you, Barry." "Just hurry up and do your work before you actually get in trouble." Jill giggled. They all began to do their work, sharing jokes from time to time or stopping to talk for a bit. Eventually, Chris finished his work, getting up to go Wesker's office. "Let us know what he says, troublemaker." Forest teased. Chris rolled his eyes, "Ok, bozo." He chuckled softly as he went to the office. He raised his hand then gently knocked on the door. "Come in, Chris." Chris opened the door, walking inside before closing it behind him. "Come over here." Wesker pointed next to him, in which Chris obeyed, now standing next to him. Wesker was working on some paperwork, probably some reports. There was stacks of them on his desk, most of it completed. He wasn't sure how the blonde could be so quick with it. Wesker soon finished writing the report he was working on, setting his pen aside before backing away from his desk. He looked over at Chris then patted his lap. A tint of red covered the younger male's cheeks at the silent order. After a bit of hesitating, which he was good at, (I'm sorry, Chris T-T) he finally sat down on Wesker's lap, facing him. Wesker's hands moved to Chris's waist, his thumbs caressing his hips. "How are you feeling? How are the stitches?" He asked. "I'm feeling good. The stitches...I haven't looked at them yet." Wesker shook his head, sighing softly. He moved one of his hands to Chris's shirt, lifting it a bit. Thankfully the vest didn't get in the way. "The stitches look good. Try to keep an eye on them." "Aye aye, Captain." Wesker shook his head slightly. His hand moved back down to Chris's waist. After a bit of them staring into each others eyes, Wesker leans forward. Getting the hint, Chris fills in the gap, kissing the other. He wrapped his arms around his neck, melting into the kiss. Wesker decided to add a bit of heat by slipping his tongue into the other's mouth. Chris was a bit surprised at first but he just went along with it, allowing the blonde to explore his mouth. Wesker's tongue scoped every inch and cranny, getting whatever he could reach. Eventually, their tongues collided, now dancing and moving swiftly. Suddenly, the door to the office opened. "Captain Wesker, about the- oh...(;D) ah- uh sorry!" The door slammed shut. Chris quickly backed away, a string of saliva following along. A dark blush covered his cheeks, feeling incredibly embarrassed. He didn't even know who it was that interrupted them. Did they even knock? Maybe they did and they just didn't hear it. "Tch..." Wesker huffed softly in frustration. Of course someone had to walk in that very moment and ruin it. Chris got off of his lap, receiving a low grunt of displeasure. "I'm sorry, Captain," He mumbled before leaving the room. Wesker pinched the bridge of his nose, huffing again. He looked down, eyeing himself for a moment, noticing that the kiss affected him pretty good. (If ya know what I mean ;D) Deciding to ignore it, he went back to his work. After Chris left the office, he went back to where everyone was, keeping his head low as he sat down at his desk. Someone saw them but he didn't know who. Neither did he want to find out. He was ashamed, he really was. If only the others knew what Wesker had planned then maybe they'd be disappointed, grossed out even. But he just couldn't resist. He wanted to take advantage of this 'second chance'. At least until everything would go to shit. Maybe he could act surprised? No, that would be even worse. Warning them could work, or the complete opposite. They would either think he's crazy or hate him for doing the things he was doing with Wesker. Each choice involved with someone getting hurt, emotionally or physically. There was no other way of avoiding it. There was only one week left to decide. Would he make the right decision? Would he really be able to 'change the past'? Did he even time travel or was this his punishment for not killing Wesker all of those times? Even if this was his punishment, it would be useless since he knows that when the time comes, he will hesitate again and again. No matter how many times that he has to relive this dream...or nightmare, whatever it was. He will always hesitate. "Chris?" Chris looked up when he heard his name get called. "Are you alright?" It was Jill. "Yeah, you were staring pretty intensely at your desk." Joseph added. "I-I'm fine. Just....distracted? Or uh-thinking." That wasn't convincing. "What's on your mind? Wait-were you actually in trouble?" Chris shook his head. "No. He just needed to talk..." Jill and Joseph nodded, even though they didn't really believe in the excuse. Before that Jill could ask any more questions, Barry came over. "You know what's wrong with Brad?" He asked. Their eyes shifted over to their teammate, who looked like he had seen a ghost, yet his cheeks had a shade of pink on them. "No idea. I wonder what's got him pissing his pants." Joseph chuckled. "I swear, everything startles him." Jill joined in on the little tease. "I don't know. He went to go to Captain Wesker's office to speak to him about the reports but he came back like that." Immediately, Joseph and Jill looked at Chris. Jill squinted her eyes at him, as if she was trying to read his mind or something. "W-What?" He chuckled nervously. Just then, a lightbulb lit in Jill's head. She let out a small gasp before giving the brunette a knowing smirk. Chris gulped, staring intensely at her, as if trying to tell her not to say anything. "What What am I missing?" Joseph asked. "Oh nothing~." Jill sang before going back to her desk. Joseph and Barry shared looks, shrugging. They went back to their own spots, forgetting about their conversation. Jill looked at Chris, trying to get his attention. Once she succeeded in doing so, she did some rather inappropriate hand gestures. A dark blush bloomed on his cheeks, quickly shaking his head. He made sure that no one was looking before putting his fingers together in a way to demonstrate a kissing action. Jill's face lit up, mouthing 'Ooooh'. After a few seconds, she mouthed 'How long?' Referring to the relationship. In which Chris mouthed back 'Yesterday'. Jill nodded, the smirk remaining on her face. Well, now Jill and Brad knew. Great. It's fine for now. Brad would glance at Chris from time to time, making the brunette uncomfortable. At least it wasn't Joseph or Barry. He wouldn't hear the end of it if they found out. The end of the work day soon came, allowing them to leave. This went on for another few days. Occasionally, they had to go on missions. Thankfully, there would only be minor injuries. Throughout this time, Jill wasted no time in teasing Chris whenever him and Wesker shared looks. She's often do kissy faces. Chris didn't really mind, though he would get flustered. Now, it was another day in the office. Another boring day. But something came up, something that made the day a bit more interesting. Chris went to go turn in the paperwork that he had finished. He bumped into no one other than Wesker, who looked down at him through his sunglasses. "Oh uh sorry, Captain." He smiled up at him, causing Wesker to scrunch up his nose. "Captain, are you-" Chris was interrupted by the blonde grabbing his shirt and pulling him forward, connecting their lips. The younger male immediately kissed back, wrapping his arms around the other's neck while the blonde rested his hands on Chris's waist. The longer they kissed, the deeper it got. Wesker ended up pinning Chris against the wall, full on making out, tongue and everything. At some point, the older male hooked his arms under Chris's legs, hoisting them up and around his waist. Everything was just perfect. Well, almost perfect. In the corner of Wesker's eye, (Yes his eyes were open. he just wanted to see Chris's expressions and blushing adorable- sorry :D) he spotted a familiar short haired brunette with a blue hat. He made it clear that he noticed her, (idk how-) he didn't stop the make out session, not caring about her presence. Jill threw her hands up in defense, her reports in one of her hands. She quietly and quickly snuck by, trying not to disrupt them. As she walked by, she couldn't help but glance back, knowing that she would tease Chris about it later. Soon enough, the two parted to get some air. After a bit of staring, Wesker let go of Chris, backing away from him. They straightened out their clothes, not wanting to cause any suspicion. Turning in his work, he returned to his desk, only to see a smirking Jill. "What?" "What took you so long" She asked. Chris raised an eyebrow, "Um...I just got a bit distracted." He replied, which wasn't really a lie. "Oh yeah~? Distracted by the Captain's luscious lips, huh?" She teased. "Jill!" He whisper shouted, an embarrassed blush forming. Jill giggled softly, "Sorry sorry. I'll stop." For now. It was unspoken but Chris knew that's what she was thinking. He wouldn't be surprised if she did tease again. In which he was correct. The end of the day came around, everyone packing up and leaving. The only ones who remained were Wesker, Chris, Jill, Rebecca, Richard, and Brad. Right now, Wesker was in his office while the others spoke in the other room. Brad approached Chris, "Hey uh...Chris?" The other looked at him. "So...how long with you and the Captain?" he asked, being sure to whisper. "Since yesterday...sorry that you had to uh..." "Witness you two eating each other's faces?" Jill teased. "You knew?" Brad asked. "Yeah, saw them kissing today." She giggled. "Guys, can we not talk about this?" Chris shifted comfortably. "Talk about what?" Richard asked, approaching them with Rebecca. "Don't worry about it~." Jill smirked at Chris, who rolled his eyes. "Is this about Chris and Wesker?" Rebecca nudged Richard's arm. Chris sighed softly, hiding his face in his hands. "Wait, since when did you guys know?" Jill asked. "Um...it was...after Chris got shot." Rebecca nodded. They looked confused since Chris had said that they've only been dating since yesterday. "We weren't dating at the time." Chris mumbled into his hands. That only made them more confused. "They were sleeping together on the bed. So we thought that they were together or something." Richard shrugged. "Awww." Jill giggled. "Christopher." The five looked over, seeing that it was Wesker. He had just exited his office. "Come here." He ordered. Jill nudged Chris, "Go see your boyfriend, Christopher." She teased. Chris kicked her leg, causing her to laugh. He walked over to Wesker, "Yes, Captain?" "I was thinking that you could come over my place for tonight. What do you say?" The blonde offered. "O-Oh uh yeah. Sure. Let me just get my things." That was surprising. Well, Chris gathered his things before leaving the building with Wesker.
