Adhara entered the red old train with a smile on her face, eagerly searching for her friends through the compartments of the train, though she was sure they were at the end of the whole train, as always.
"Hey Lady Stardust!" she heard an unfamiliar voice shout, as the young witch turned around she was met by one boy, one tall and fit, but also elegant and fragilee, with stormy gray eyes and long black curls perfectly settled around his face, this one was wearing a Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody T-shirt, light blue jeans and a smug smile "I do prefer Suffragette City tho".
"Yes well I prefer Killer Queen and I haven't stopped you to tell you, have I Black?" she smiled sarcastically and continued to search for her friends.
"I mean it is a Hit, but nothing compared with Bohemian Rhapsody" he followed her. Adhara had no idea why all of a sudden Sirius Fucking Black was talking to her and frankly she did not want to know "By the way, we are in the same house, aren't we?" He said in a flirty manner winking an eye at the young girl.
"Oh Lord, I can't believe you! Just go back to Potter and the rest for Godric's sake" the brunette had arrived at the compartment she was searching for and as she entered with an ironic smile she closed the door on his face, sighting as she turned around to be met with both her best friends.
"Bowie!" Adhara had no time to prepare herself for the tall blonde girl that jumped over her "I missed you!"
"We both did Marls" another voice was heard from the back of the compartment "So let me hug her too you tosser". As the blonde girl let her go, another body was thrown her way, this time in was a mess of black afro curls the one that shut her vision.
"Girls lord! I don't want to die just yet!" the smallest witch shouted as she let go of the second girl. She then was met face to face with the smiling faces of Marlene McKinnon, a tall, blonde and model-like girl with sassy eyes and seductive smile, and Dorcas Medowes, also a tall black girl with the kindest smile and the trustfulest eyes. The three of them had been inseparable since they met back in their first year "Now tell me all about your summers, I've been dying to know,".
"Oh no young girl! You first, I mean look at you, you have grown Bowie, and did you do something to your hair?" The black girl sat back on her spot while grabbing some crisps that were open in the empty seat next to her.
"And why on earth was The Sirius Black following you?" This time it was the blonde one that talked looking at the brunette with mischievous eyes.
"Oh, he was being a total prick, first telling me that he thought that Suffragette City is a better song than Lady Stardust! Can you believe it!?" Adhara shouted exasperated.
"Godric helps him if he tries to tell you that any Bowie song is better than Lady Stardust, or Space Oddity" Marlene said sarcasm filling her words while Cas was smiling at the whole situation.
"Yeah, and that's not all! He did not know who the bloody hell I was! I mean it isn't as if I am as known as you two, you know I am not in the Quidditch team nor top of the class in half my subjects but come on, we have been in the same bloody house for years now!" The green-eyed witch was mad to say the least.
"I mean Bowie, you have changed a lot during summer, if it was for the hoodie I probably wouldn't have recognised you either" Dorcas shrugged her dark brown eyes looking to her friend "Have you been working out during summer?"
"Yeah..." the brunette hid her head, turning it away from both of her friend's staring eyes "I want to try out for the team this year, I mean, I know I am not as good as you Marls, but just for funsies you know?" Addie was now looking at the blonde witch.
"That's great Bowie!" shouted Marlene jumping once again over her hugging her friend and laughing like crazy "That way we could both go together, I am quite done with Potter's complains honestly, I don't want to take them on my own"
"You won't have to McKinnon," a male voice said from behind the door. As the three girls turned around they were met by none other than three fourths of the Marauders, James Potter tall and built up from Quidditch, a mop of messy black curly hair covering half his hazel eyes, all framed with a pair of round glasses. Peter Petigrew was the smallest of the lot, chubby and shy, with really short blonde hair and small blue eyes. The one who talked though was Sirius Black, with his black curls in a bun "Hey Lady Stardust, how are you doing?" he smiled as he sat down next to her.
"Quite worst now that you are here Killer Queen" the brunette spit back "And my name is not Lady Stardust".
"I well could have been Bowie" Marlene shoved an elbow as she smiled "What on earth do you want Black?" her expresion then changed to one of annoyance.
"Just visiting my old friend here" he signaled Adhara with his hand.
"We are not friends honey, heck you don't even know my name"
"Truth be told" this time was James Potter the one talking, right from the sit next to Dorcas "I came to ask you Marlene if you were joining the team this year" he had his signature smirk across his lips "but now I see we may have some new blood in the team won't we?" he then turned his head to the brunette witch right in front of him "Trying out for the team this year too Gray?" he said.
"I mean, I was thinking about doing so but I am not quite su-" she stopped mid sentence and rised her head, eyes as big as the moon "Did you just say too? Who else is trying o-" Adhara stopped herself again and turned to the side to look at the black haired boy "Oh no"
"Oh yeah Stardust, we will be tryout-buddies!" the Black boy was shinning with excitement. Adhara noticed that he was happier than she'd ever seen him the first day of term, in fact he did not have a single scar nor a black eye or some mark on his arms, nothing, that was strange.
"We are not gonna be tryout-buddies, in fact we are not gonna be buddies at all" she said turning her face towards James again, leaving a pouting Sirius next to her "Can I ask you one thing Potter? I know Marlene is not going to be imparcial in this specific topic and I want the opinion of someone who knows how the team works and everything".
"Hey!" jumped the blonde witch, but she was bluntly ignored by the rest of the compartment, leaving Dorcas looking at her with a small smile on her lips.
"Shoot right away Gray"
"Do you think I have any opportunity at all to enter the team?"
"Yeah I do," before he could continue the door of the compartment was once again open, the fourth Marauder looked quite tired.
"You dimwits, I've been looking everywhere for you three! What the hell are you doing here? The train stops in 20 minutes and you are not even changed!" Remus Lupin caught his breath then and realized that they were with three other Gryffindors. He was the tallest of the four, almost an inch taller than the Potter boy, but a lot skinnier and looked a lot more tired than the rest of them, he had scars all over his face but his eyes were kind, a brown chocolate-like eyes, almost covered by his sandy-blonde mop of straight hair. "Oh er- hi girls..."
"Hello Remus, we were just ending our conversation, weren't we gentlemen?" Adhara was already up and urging the three boys out of their compartment so they could get changed before arriving at Hogmades Station.
"That's all right, I'll take care of them now, thanks girls, and have a nice ride to the castle" the newcomer was smiling at them pushing his friend to go towards their compartment.
"See you in the castle Stardust!" Sirius shouted before disappearing from their view laughing with his friends.
"Good bye Adhara" the skinny boy walked away following his friends.
"Well that was weird" Dorcas was still sitting right next to the window, looking at his friends with stunned eyes.
"Yes it was indeed" the brunette replayed looking at the door where the four boys had just disappeared.
"Well now girls, and what!?" shouted the blonde witch shaking her hands with excitement. "We are at Hogwarts, Bowie is going to enter the team and Cas is going to tell McDonald that she fancies her finally"
"That is so not happening!"
