Qing-Qing woke up to find herself laying next to Roman with his arm wrapped around her. Her eyes widened as her cheeks slowly turned red. "I fell asleep?!" She exclaimed inside her head. She slowly turned her head to his. He looked so peaceful laying there. She didn't want to wake him up, but she didn't exactly want to stay right there beside him.
"I'll wait a few more minutes and if he doesn't wake up, then I'll move."
When he woke up she had fallen back to sleep. He layed there watching her with a soft smile across his face. She looked so pretty. Her soft breathing made his heart skip a beat. He didn't want to wake her, but if he held onto her anymore his heart would explode from the pounding.
"Qing-Qing," He said softly. She didn't wake up. "Maybe that was too soft." He thought. He gently nudged her shoulder. "Qing-Qing."
Her eyes slowly fluttered opened as she let out a yawn. Her eyes met his and they both blushed as they stared at each other. She quickly sat up feeling flustered and as did he.
"How long was I asleep?" She asked sheepishly. He stood up and stretched. "I'm not sure. I feel asleep too." She recalled watching him sleep. His peaceful face and steady breathing. Thinking about it made her heart flutter.
"Are you feeling okay?" He asked looking at her with a concerned face. "Yeah, why?" She asked standing up. He pointed to her cheeks. "You're cheeks are pink."
She touched her hands to her cheeks feeling hot. "Oh, it's nothing." She said feeling embarrassed. "Should we head back now? It's getting late?"
Roman turned around to see the sun starting to set. Beautiful colors of orange, yellow and pink filled the sky. "Yeah, we probably should." He turned back to her to see her eyes sparkling as she stared at the sky. "The sunset is so pretty..." She said. "Very pretty." he said softly. She looked up at him and smiled. "Ready to go?" He slowly nodded his head. "Yeah let's go."
They arrived back at the inn and went into their rooms to wash up. To their surprise, both of their rooms were a mess. All of their stuff was scattered all over the room. They both opened their doors across from each other with horrified expressions. "I've been robbed!" They both exclaimed.
They called the manager of the inn and franticly told him what happened. The manager called the police and tried to calm them down. Mainly Roman though. He was a mess.
After a couple minutes later, a young police officer arrived at the inn greeted by a frantic guy and lady. As soon as they saw him, their eyes lit up. "Are you here for the robbery?" Roman asked jumping up from his seat. "Uh-yes." The police officer answered.
"Thank goodness! I'm the one who has been robbed!" Roman exclaimed. "Okay, can you show me to your room?" "Yes, this way." Roman led him to his room followed by Qing-Qing and the manager.
The officer took a look around the room. "Can you tell me your name and what you are doing here?" The officer studied Roman up and down.
"My name is Roman Hastings and I'm here with a friend on a trip." The officer looked behind Roman to see Qing-Qing peering through the doorway. "Is that your friend?" He asked pointing to her.
Roman turned around. "Oh, yes! Qing-Qing come here." He gestured his hand towards her. "She's been robbed as well." Qing-Qing walked over to them eyeing the officer.
He was almost the same height as Roman. Maybe an inch shorter. He had a handsome face and a fit body. He had black messy hair and the looked the same age as Roman. His eyes were so dark you couldn't see his pupils.
