The morning light shines in through the balcony window when Adam wakes up. Kevin isn't there. His bed looks different from last night, he must've been in their room and left before Adam woke up. Next time they meet, Adam will apologize and try to take steps towards conserving their friendship. If possible.

Get dressed. Breakfast. Wait outside in front of the hotel. Lilah soon arrives. They greet each other and start walking towards the town.

Adam: Soo, I thought we could just explore the town, see if we find anything interesting.

Lilah: Okay, that can work.

Adam: And if we don't, that's fine because first and foremost I just wanna talk to you.

Lilah: Oh. (smiles) About what?

Adam: Anything that comes to mind.

Lilah: Cool. So are we taking the tram or do we walk?

Adam: Uh... I don't know, I want to see other parts of town too, so, walk? But it's gonna be quite the hike. Wish I could drive.

Lilah: I have a license.

Adam (eyebrows up): You do?

Lilah: Yeah. But I don't have a car. Obviously.

Adam: That's not a problem. I saw that there is a cheap rental pretty close by. But I think I should ask first, would you even like to drive?

Lilah: Sure! Haven't had practice in a while and as you said, we can go anywhere we want. I believe the more interesting question is wouldn't letting me drive you around hurt your masculinity?

Adam (laughs): Yeah, absolutely. No, I'm a bit more confident in myself than that.

Lilah: Just a bit?

Adam: Yeah.

After a ten-minute walk they get to the rental. Exclusively old pickup trucks.

Adam: Pardon my French but what the hell is this? (laughs)

Lilah: Verrry interesting.

Adam: Is this even legal?

Lilah: No idea.

Adam and Lilah look at each other.

Lilah (excited smile): Let's do it!

Adam agrees. They settle on the most safe-looking yet by far the ugliest truck. They decide to rent for the whole day, as it's the best purchase financially. They get it. After only a couple of tries, the engine actually successfully starts. They get going. The day is already a hilarious hot mess.

Without any particular goal or destination, they start driving around. Lilah's really enjoying it. So is Adam. But for him, it's enough just to be in her company.

Adam: Alright. I hope this is not gonna be weird. I wanted to ask you... how are you?

Lilah (little surprised, like she doesn't know what to make of this): I'm fine. How are you?

Adam: No, no, no, I want to know what's going on with you. Though we've both been in this group for some time, I recently realized that I don't really know that much about you.

Lilah (smiles): I see. Well, I don't know what you'd like to know.

Adam: Well, I don't know. Everything. How are you?
