Unknown POV

I ran through the forest looking for my young mate, I've been keeping an eye on her ever since the Cullen boy left her broken, and the one time I left was to hunt, and that's when she tried to kill herself, then I left to go to my motel and shower, I come back. I snuck into the house to watch over her, and found her note to her father.

It breaks my stone cold heart that she would do that, but she doesn't know about me, she's broken hearted. She thinks that Cullen was her mate, but I am. I love her. With my stone heart, and black soul.

I caught her sent and ran towards it, I soon saw her, she was standing on the edge of a cliff, her beautiful chocolate brown hair whipping around her perfect face and looking over the edge of the cliff with her dark chocolate brown eyes. She smiled but not a happy smile... no it was a smile of relief, or one of discovery, the look of a person who found something they've been looking for their entire life... She closed her eyes, I saw her change her weight slightly, her legs tensing, getting ready to jump, I inwardly gasped, she was going to try to kill herself... again.

She was just about to hurl herself off of the cliff when I lunged at her. She smacked her head, her eyes connected with mine and I saw a flash of emotion go through her eyes before she passed out.

I scooped her up and put her in the passenger seat of her truck, I got into the drivers seat, turned the key then started down the road and slowly made my way to Bella's house, with Bella quietly snoring.

I made it to Bella's house after a painfully long amount of time. I scooped her up and carried her silently into the house, I grabbed the still unread letter for Charlie on my way.

I reached her room and gently laid her under the covers, the covered her up, I crumpled the letter and threw it into the trash by Bella's bed, the sat silently in the rocking chair, watching my young mate.
