Aftermath Part 1

Weeks passed, and Luna slipped in and out of a coma. In that time the UA sports festival had happened. Luna didn't know why but she swore that when she woke up once she saw Bakugou on the TV in chains. She felt her quirk surge around her and let the chains fall of him. Bakugou had won first place, Todoroki came in second, and Tokoyami in third.

The class visited all together once every two weeks, individually whenever they could. Shinsou and Denki were regulars with the others from the squad. Bakugou was the only one that wasn't, he wouldn't visit her at all.

Luna felt her mind wander back, she curled her fingers and slowly stirred. Eri and Mic who were in the room visiting turned their attention to her.

"Big Sissy!" The little girl cried when Luna opened her eye and sat up slowly.

She signed something which the little girl took a moment to understand with Mic's help.

"Hi-lit-tle-uni-corn. Ah! Yay!" Eri said.

Luna looked at her father and signed something.

"What happened? The USJ was attacked by villains, you fought the Nomu off but it hurt you badly. After you passed out, it broke your legs. You won't be able to talk for a while or walk for a couple of weeks, it nearly closed your trachea and it was damaged, and your eye...my little speaker...your going to be blind for a few months. It's not permanent though. But you'll need to have someone with you to help."

"Ok."

She signed back the last word and Mic called the nurse in who did basic checks on her. Present Mic sent a message to Aizawa that she had woken up and soon enough he and the entire class had come to see her.

"My daughter is my hero, I am so proud." Aizawa said as their family was reunited.

"Yea sis you kicked serious a- butt!" Shinsou said, looking down at Eri.

"But I failed to defeat the Nomu..." she signed back.

"You did no such thing, you helped keep your classmates safe and even protected Mina and your Dad from getting hurt, I have never been prouder!" Mic said beaming.

"Sissy! Can we do sparkles?" Eri asked, looking up at Luna. The 2 men looked at each other and at her, questioning whether she could use her quirk in her current condition.

The older sister signed at Shinsou who lifted the smaller girl onto the hospital bed and she laid down.

Luna took a deep breath and she felt her eye burn as she caused small little lights to fly around Eri. She made a little unicorn run around her until she rested her head on her chest.

"Ok my little speaker we're going to let the others come in and visit." Mic said, lifting the small girl into his arms and walking out with Aizawa.

In small groups the class came in, Shinsou stayed as a translator. First, the Dekusquad who proceeded to update her on everything that had happened in the school and the news and left her a small bouquet of flowers. Then the emo squad and the extra students who congratulated her and left her a small bowl of moon shaped cookies made by Sato.

Lastly, the Bakusquad came in with Rouge trailing behind Bakugou. When they came in Shinsou stood up and hugged Denki. Rouge rushed to the side of the bed and licked her hand, and Luna pet her head. Luna looked at her brother and signed something but instead he said.

"Wait sis, they have something they want to show you."

"What?"

The entire squad minus Bakugou who was sitting in a chair in the corner raised their hand and signed "This!"

The girl looked at her closest friends and started to tear up. They had learned sign language for her.

"Noooooo don't cry!" Mina said, hugging her friend.

"Yea! Come on! We don't know that much yet but we wanted to learn!" Sero said, bumping fists with Kirishima.

The squad proceeded to make her smile with tales of the past week's and the Sports Fest, Denki being the best at making dramatic faces.

A nurse came in at one point and told them they had to go soon. Luna looked at Shinsou and signed something.

"Ok sis, whatever you want." He said, pushing everyone but Bakugou out the door and signaling Rouge to come with.
