Aftermath Part 2

The blonde just stared at her.

"What is it Prism?" He asked lowly.

She opened her mouth and held her throat, it burned to talk but she didn't care in this instance.

"Ka-tsu-ki." She said, holding her throat.

He walked to her besides and grabbed her free hand.

"Don't fucking strain yourself I'm here."

She signed with the hand he grabbed and he smiled at her words.

"I am so happy that you won the Sports Fest. Thanks Prism...truth be told, I had to win it."

She looked at him with a questioning face. "You are the strongest in our class and don't you dare deny it, I needed to win it...for you...I didn't visit at all because it hurt to see you like this. When that Nomu nearly fucking killed you I didn't know ...what to do with myself. I couldn't save you, All Might was the one that got that shitty monsters hand free and I just fucking stood there like a pathetic piece of crap. You even saved me from here, I know you let those chains loose from when they had me tied up."

She started tearing up again. "I knew it." She thought.

"Prism...don't fucking cry, look I already know you won't be able to talk or see...for some time so I'll be by your damn side. No matter what this time, can't get rid of me that easy dumbass." He said with his trademark smirk.

An idea came to Luna's mind as she let her throat go and opened her hand. She created sparks of light that formed words.

"Hey... you shouldn't do that Spitfire, your still healing-" Bakugou started, but then he saw what she was spelling as she signed for him.

" I know you were blaming yourself for me getting hurt, Hito told me, but it wasn't your fault. If you weren't there things could have ended up worse. So thank you Katsuki. This isn't how I wanted this to go, truth be told I didn't think I would is this at all...but here we are. I like you, like more than just a friend."

"Prism...I like you too dammit." He said lightly, squeezing her free hand. The girl smiled at him and motioned him to come closer. The boy moved closer and she rasped, "I love you."

Bakugou's face turned bright red and he looked at Luna and smirked.

"No fair Prism, I was gonna say that." He said moving down to kiss her hand. She took his face in his hand and kissed his cheek. She signed something and the boy laughed.

"I don't know if kissing is a good idea while I'm still healing so let me give you that until I can at least talk."

"Ok Spitfire, I'm going to hold you to that ya hear?" He said, smirking.

Luna nodded her head and laid back onto her pillows not letting go of his hand for a second.

A couple of days later Shinsou came in with Rouge to take her to class.

"Rouge!" The girl signed as the wolf perched against the bed and licked her face. Luna gave her a treat and got up from the bed. She leaned against the bed for a bit as Shinsou handed her crutches. Her legs had healed without a problem but her walking was still a little unsteady and she didn't have time for physical therapy so it would be crutches for a while. Her eye was still healing and she was still blind so it was covered in an eyepatch. The doctor recommended her to talk as little as possible as her throat healed and try to communicate another way.

"So sis...you and Bakugou?" Shinsou asked as Luna stumbled in surprise.

She looked at him with a 'i am going to kill you when I can walk again' face.

"Ok, ok geez." He said laughing.
