THINGS U NEED TO NOTE ON THIS ONESHOT: You are a daughter of Poseidon, Lets Pretend ur enemy is Atlas and he has high technology(even tho that's not possible). And the weapon u r going to get is made by me as in it was not in the books. So enjoy!

3rd Person POV

You were a horrible climber (no offense) so u didn't even try climbing. You wouldn't even climb a climbing wall which is 10m high. While on the other hand ur boyfriend, Nico, is an amazing climber. Don't ask how u got together.

But right now u and ur boyfriend are on a dangerous quest to retrieve a really dangerous object that could destroy the world. How exciting....(Note sarcasm)

Your POV

Me and Nico entered the HQ of Atlas who has the ring. The Ring of Fire. I actually find it ironic considering I am the Daughter of Poseidon well that's why I was sent on this Quest in the first place and Percy has something else to do. And water extinguishes fire.

Since Atlas and his 'army' has activated the ring of fire nobody can even get near(pls don't ask logical questions I know there are logical ways where its not possible so...) it without getting burnt to a crisp. Except me(and Percy). All I have to do is create a water barrier when I get near it and then use my energy to extinguish it for some time so that I could put it in the box which its magic doesn't work so it wont turn anyone into a crisp when they go near it and then we bring it back to camp where it can be deactivated. So basically me and Percy are the only ones who can touch- no, not even touch, are the only ones who can go near it.

Ok back to the present, we went through the hallway looking for the door which has the ring of fire in it. There was a whole row of doors.

"This is gonna take some time" I muttered

"Well we better start searching" Nico said.

We both started walking down the corridor to sense its presence. like the heat radiating off of it.

"I can sense it, we are getting closer" I thought out loud.

" I can sense it too since its gonna take some time to reach..." Then he started talking. I know Nico is not a person to talk but he knows it annoys when he doesn't stop talking so he does it on purpose.

"Oh for gods sake! Shut up Nico" I told him

" Make me" He said smirking and then continued to talk. I grabbed his collar placed his lips on mine and before it could get out of hand I pulled away making him frown.

"Heyyy"

"Remember we are here for a quest not to make out" I so called 'reminded' him.

I soon got frustrated and said out loud." Where is the room with freaking Ring of Fire???"

"If u take a right on this corridor the second last door might have what u r looking for because that is the closet result to 'freaking ring of Fire'." A robotic voice said. Nico was so surprised by the sudden voice that he tripped and fell I gave a brief laugh before remembering the robotic voice and pulled out wave jaw my sword..

"Who's there?" I demanded.

(A/n: There will be part 2 and 3 but I cannot make any more updates until March cuz I have my main exams coming up. so very sorry and can u guess who(or what)spoke that?)
