Lost

A couple weeks into school u started getting to know more people including Ricky. U found out that he was really an genuine person and had a great personality and it wasn't all about his looks. His look were just a add on.  He offered to take me to class several times  and some people  from school thought u were dating.

I woke up with a massive headache from the night before and it was 1 pm. I woke up brushed my retry and wore a white shirt and some shorts with my huaraches. I went to the kitchen and asked Armando if he was doing anything today.
A: oh by the way Ricky brought u home last night from the party
Y/n: oh.. I thought you brought me
A: I was going to but I didn't have any space in my truck so Ricky offered
Y/n: ohh ok
I went to the kitchen and I ordered myself some food and I went into my room and texted Ricky
Y/n: gn thank you for bringing me home last night🫶🏼
R: oh it's no problem
Y/n: oh ok I was just making sure to check up on you
R: so how are you?
Y/n: I'm good I have a headache but either that that I'm good
R: Im good but yesterday was fun asf
Y: it wass but seing you there was rlly good
R: yea u looked rlly pretty
Y: oh...umm I gtg my moms calling me
R: oh. k.

That was a lie
My mom wasn't here
But I just couldn't
I couldn't bare being that attracted to him specially since I had a boyfriend but I knew that i just had to ignore that attraction because I didn't want to lose our friendship.
But I just couldn't. I knew that sooner or later he would get a girlfriend and I would finally be over him but whenever I thought of him with someone either that me it made me feel mad and jealous something that I've never felt over someone that I was barely friends with but With him it was different. He made me feel secure and warm even if it was just him complementing me.

I wanted to clear my mind and I took my car and I drove to a place that I usually went to whenever I felt like I wanted to run away from all my problems. The truth was I really missed my dad. He was my everything. But he was gone whenever he left I took it way harder than my brother but that was because all through my childhood I was daddy's little princess but now I was just a girl in this world of strangers.

I drove around and I went to my friends house and eventually went just drove back home and stayed there the rest of the day and I texted Ricky GoodNight💗 he responded with goodnight pretty and I just couldn't bare with that knot in my stomach every time he said something flirty.

Ugh teen romance was so damn stressful.
