"What?"
"Wizard, you aren't deaf."
The book slipped from his hands and fell on the floor.
He wasn't at all, in fact, he heard it as clear as day. He even heard it echo around him, but he just wasn't able to process it fast enough. Wizard Cookie tried to find reasons that could counter her statement, he searched and attempted to remember, something had to be left behind that they forgot about. Wizard couldn't love GingerBrave. Or was he wrong?"You mean, in a platonic way though- right? It's just not-"
He stammered out of nowhere, refusing to believe her. His face red from embarrassment.
"Wizard.."
"It's- It just doesn't make sense, Strawberry! He's my bestfriend, we're both boys.. and.. I don't-"
"Wizard.. listen to me."
He turned to her, his hat tilted a little to his right, about to slide down his face. While he immediately fixed his hat's position, Strawberry gently placed her hand on his shoulder.
"I know you're in denial, it's completely normal. But what you need to know is that loving another boy is also completely normal! Nobody's going to judge you for that. And honestly, it's rather obvious that you love him."
Wizard sunk in his scarf, as if to hide from reality. As much as he wanted to deny it, deep down, a part of him knew she was right.
"No.. No-- You're lying. Me? Love? GingerBrave?? AHA- I don't think so.."
"Deny all you want.. though I'm pretty sure this is a case of mutual pining."
"Excuse me?"
"Reciprocated love!"
Wizard scoffed.
'Yeah right.'
He thought to himself for a bit, looking down at the book on the floor. Picking it up, he sighed."Let's say you're right about this mutual pining; in that case, what am I supposed to do then?

GingerBrave's side
After a long while, his turn was finally over and he was on his way home, covered in small pieces of cotton candy wool. He quickly noticed Espresso and Madeleine hanging out near the fountain and decided to ask them advice.
"And then, Knight Cookie came in and-"
"Madeleine be careful, if you keep leaning on the fountain like that, you're gonna get all soaked!"
"A little water is not that big of a problem, is it?"
Whilst Espresso sighed, GingerBrave walked up to them waving, they waved back as they greeted him.
"Hey, GingerBrave! How's it going? Are you done with the sheep?"
"Yeah! I've been using some tips Cotton Cookie gave me and it seems like it works! They're much more comfortable around me!"
"Sure looks that way. Seeing how you're covered in wool at the moment."
Espresso pointed out as he picked some from GingerBrave's hair. He saw the nervous look on his face and so he asks:
"You seem uneasy, is something on your mind?"
"Well, the things is.. I need your help on something, since you're the first adults that I came by."
Madeleine looked at Espresso, standing up.
"Why? Is something going on around here?"
"No no! I uh- Aha.. I need advice."
He inhaled deeply before putting his hands behind his back, the two were waiting for further explanation.
"Love advice."
Espresso's eyes only widened slightly, while Madeleine might've just gasped a whole eighth of the world's air. Of course, he did immediately cough heavily as Espresso pat his back in slight concern. GingerBrave simply waited there, awkwardly waiting for a response. As he let out one last cough, he stood straight and finally spoke.
"So.. Who is it? I bet it's-"
"MADELEINE. Ugh.. it depends on what kind of cookie they are. Each cookie interprets and expresses love in various ways. Certain gestures make different impacts depending on what they think it means. Some go as far as to change their entire personality just to seem more appealing to their loved one. Which I believe is rather stupid.. If it seems someone doesn't appreciate you for who you are, it's most definitely not worth it."
"Perhaps if he tells us who it is, we might be able to give better advice--."
"BUT."
Espresso glared at him, obviously annoyed.
"If you are so sure you love them, you need to be yourself. See, Madeleine here, is always himself: always acting like a complete fool .. and guess what? I, for some reason *sigh*.."
Before he could finish his sentence, he pushed the other one into the fountain, quickly leaning towards GingerBrave in slight embarrassment.
"He's an idiot, but he's my idiot."
As soon as he got out of the fountain, he leaned back, smiling at the mere sight of Madeleine.
"Although, you do need to make a move and for what I believe.. I don't think he's gonna do it anytime sooner."
GingerBrave flinched, blushing intensely as he thanked them and went on his way, getting more red by each step he took. Espresso softly chuckled as he shrunk smaller in the distance.
Back with Wizard at the mansion..
Taking their conversation to Strawberry's room, they took 2 whole hours brainstorming, asking and explaining, in which she did set up a whiteboard at some point. Strawberry was indeed a professional. As she took a book, specifically one filled to the brim with poems and small tales from Clover Cookie, she flipped page after page until she left it open and dropped it in Wizard's hands.
"Only the pure heart can see what the eye cannot, for it's best to follow its call and let free those feelings you fought... what does that even mean?"
She pushed up some random glasses on her eyes, squinting at the sight she had when she wore them.
"Honestly, I don't know.. but I think if we make sense of it, we can--"
"Are those.. Alchemist Cookie's glasses?"
She blinked for a second and nodded.
"Yeah, I found them on the ground by the bakery and I think they're her spare ones. I was gonna give them back.. but I felt the need to use them for the occasion. To look more.. wise I guess?"
"I'd say they make you look smarter than Alchemist herself! It's rather amusing.. hey, could I try them on?"
"I don't see why not!"
"She's blind as a mole.. that's- not surprising actually."
She slightly giggled at the remark whilst he immediately took them off before he got blind himself. She took out a red marker and started writing on the whiteboard, the squeaking noise was slightly annoying but Wizard did get used to it overtime. "Acting Aloof: dos and doesn'ts"
"What some guys do that's wrong for the most part is acting aloof, like they don't care or something. That is what can ruin everything if you overuse it. But it can help to get the other one intrigued. I've seen you use it lots with Gingerbrave-"
Strawberry was once more interrupted by a strange rumbling noise. The noise soon came along with a rough shaking, the floors creaked here and there while the whiteboard almost tipped over. If the shaking were any harsher, it would've fallen on Wizard.
"What just happened?"
