Cavalry Battle

3rd P.O.V

When she was done talking to Midoriya she saw Bakugou running at her. "How did you beat me!?" He tried to attack her but she dodged again and started running around.

(Y/n) continued running while Bakugou chased her with small explosions. "Calm down Bakugou! It's a competition! Everyone's in it for the win!" He was close to hitting her once and she responded with an "oh shit."

He grabbed onto the back of her uniform and dug his heels into the ground so she couldn't move anywhere. Surprisingly she started to drag him and his feet dug into the ground more. "Let me go Katsuki!" Surprisingly he did let go, the girl fell forward onto the ground. She looked back at him and he had an unreadable expression. She was confused until it hit her.

'I called him by his first name.'

She stood up and decided to mess with him. "Aww, embarrassed I called you by your first name?" She leaned her head into her closed hand in a teasing manner.

Bakugou clicked his tongue and growled. "We've been in the same school since elementary. I don't care anymore because I'll beat you!" He stomped away with small explosions.

When he cooled down and he was far enough away the girl grabbed her chest and let out an exaggerated sigh. "I can't believe I got away with that."

Time skip

"The top 40 made it through to the next round." Midnight explained. "It's unfortunate, but don't worry even if you didn't make it! We've made other chances for you to shine. The real competition begins next!"

A hologram appeared behind her and once again game titles passed by the screen like a slot game. "Let's see what we have in store for you next? What could it be, the waiting is torture! Prepare yourselves, for this!" The screen stoped and displayed the game name.

Your P.O.V

"Ok kiddies ready for the next round!!!?" Midnight cheers as you all nod.

I stood next to Katsuki as the shuffle board began to move.

"What could it be!!? Is it your greatest fantasies coming true or!!!" She smirks as she slams her whip to the board as it stopped "Cavalry Battle!!!"

"What no I suck at those!" Denki whined from behind me as i giggle.

"Now let me explain the rules of this Cavalry battle." Midnight said, waving her whip in the air.

"There is a time limit of fifteen minutes. Each team is worth the total of its members points and the riders will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to to grab others headbands until time runs out. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up, so the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them. Most importantly, if your teams headband is stolen, or if your team fails, you're not out of the game!"

"There are 40 people who passed, which means there will be at least 10 teams running around." I mumbled.

"During the game, it'll be a cruel fight where you can use your quirk." Midnight said. "But it is still a Cavalry battle. You'll get a red card for attacks that try to make other people fall on purpose! You'll be removed immediately!"

"Damn it." Bakugou cursed.

The board changed to show your placings from the first round as everyone looks at it.

"In this you all have a headband on that headband is the points you earned based on how well you did in the first round! For example 41 gets 5, 40 gets 10 and so on! The winner of the round gets a whopping 10 million points!!!"

So in other words.... whoever placed first would automatically win if they kept their band....

OH WAIT YOU WON!!!

"Thats right" Midnight licks her lips.

You felt everyone turn to look at you eyes red with blood lust and greed as they seem to grow ten feet tall and look over your tiny body.
