Hidden Hurt part 2:
TW: self-harm?
Camilo was certain that his wrist was broken, the numbing pain and the sound he heard had confirmed it in the boys' mind, Weeks had passed and as far as Camilo knew his injury was still a secret.
The Madrigals had noticed that Camilo wasn't using his right hand for everything.
Partially Isabella and Bruno.
Camilo had always been one to help people at any chance he had so when he made up excuses to not shift into Doloris Isaella knew that something was wrong.
Camilo started thinking about whether or not he should tell Julieta about his wrist as he was starting to feel useless every time he had to tell someone that he couldn't help them, he felt horrible each time he lied.
Camilo stood in front of his mirror With tears rolling down his cheeks, He was trying so hard to move his fingers but he just couldn't, how was he supposed to do his part to help people if he couldn't use his hand.
Doloris heard Camilo crying but wasn't sure if she should talk to him about it since she was in the living room with Bruno and Abuela.
" what have you heard that's got you so concerned?" Abuela asked, noticing that Doloris was going through some inner turmoil.
" Camilo's crying again" Doloris explained somberly.
Bruno and Abuela shared a glance before Abuela sighed standing from her seat.
" I'll check on him will I" Abuela declared before walking up the stairs, Doloris shrugging at Bruno before following Abuela.
The group of three didn't really know what to expect when they opened the door to Camilo's room but they didn't think that they's be met with the sight of Camilo sobbing on the floor surrounded by broken glass and pools of blood.
The once beautiful mirrors that were placed on all fourteen pillars in the centre of the boy's room we now shattered, the curtains of the stage ripped down and there were clothes everywhere.
" what happened?" Bruno muttered, Doloris quickly leading the lethargic Camilo to his bed as Abuela left to find Julieta.
" I'm sorry" Camilo cried repetitively.
It didn't take long for Camilo's physical wounds to heal, he was forced to explain everything, how he broke his wrist, how useless he felt due to it and how he justified keeping his injury a secret with the fact no one knew.
Although Camilo's behaviour throughout the situation was odd nothing was more surprising than when Abuela hugged her grandson, a singular tear running down her face.
She felt somewhat responsible for the uselessness that Camilo felt, she had made it so her family was raised to put the needs of the towns peoples over their own,
And it was as if she engraved the ideology that if you weren't doing your part you were a disgrace.
" I'm sorry" Abuela whispered loud enough for only Doloris and Camilo to hear.
Sorry, this isn't the best quality, I am not meant to be using screens at all but IDK I felt bad making people wait so here is a chapter (:
