Wake up part one:

(ed)

Camilo was never good at showing negative emotions, honestly, he wasn't good at showing any real emotions other than happiness.

The shapeshifter was often referred to as being 'chill' or the happiest guy alive, the foodie comedian. Luckily Félix and Pepa were quick to notice the change in the usually happy, usually gluttonous boy. Camilo never stood in one place for too long, his amazing smile became a rare sight, and the boy looked like a walking skeleton.

Félix and Pepa hadn't really seen Camilo eat but he said he had, why would he lie.

The changes in Camilo had become more and more obvious as the days passed.

He was more irritable and played with the sleeves of his Winter shirt.

Camilo had been out doing chores all day as a perusal, he babysat the kids of the town and helped a man hang birthday banners but he started feeling really lightheaded around lunch a meal he skipped.

"Mi amoré are you okay?"Pepa wondered noticing how pale her eldest son was.

" Sì Mama, I just feel a bit unwell" Camilo lied.

Little bury dots filled the young chameleon boy's sight as he stood to walk away.

"Son are you sure you're okay you seem quite uneasy on your feet there" Félix commented, concerned.

"You two really need to stop coddling the boy if he says he's fine he's fine" Abuela spoke dismissively.

As Abuela finished her sentence Camilo collapsed, hitting his head as he fell.

"Oh my, Camilo" Pepa yelled running to her sons' side.

"Oh stop overreacting the boy's just fallen over, he's fine" Abuela complained reading her book again.

"He's bleeding Mama, how is that 'fine'" Julietta snapped, handing her sister a cloth to hold on to Camilo's wound as Félix ran off to get arepas.

"Do not yell at me, he probably fell at hurt himself on purpose for attention"

Abuela yelled.

Bruno and Agustín had been sitting there uncomfortably watching the drama unfold until Abuela accused Camilo of being nothing more than an attention seeker.

"That's enough! Ever since I re-joined this family all I see is you treating my nieces and nephews just as horribly as you did us and I'm sick of it your a horrible woman and nothing has changed!" Bruno yelled through tears storming out of the room.

"My goodness, you're all as misbehaved as each other" Abuela demanded leaving as well.

Pepa laid an unconscious Camilo in her arms as her husband ran towards her holding the only thing that could help the situation.

"You didn't stand up to her" Julietta sighed disappointedly.

"There's no point she'll never change anyway" Pepa explained a rain cloud over her head.

"There is a point Pepa, he's your son your meant to fight for him" Julietta whispered.

"I don't see you getting your kids out of here" Pepa yelled.

An uncomfortable silence filled the room as Camilo stayed unconscious.

"Why isn't he waking up?" Félix asked worriedly.

"The arepa healed his head but that's not the reason he collapsed"

Julietta somberly explained.

"Doesn't your gift heal everything but sickness?"Pepa wondered.

"Yes and Camilo's sick so he isn't healing".
