"Hey! Camilo! While you're in your room, go fetch some clothes for Y/N!" I heard my tia exclaim. I sighed and agreed. Heading up to my room with a new purpose, to dress the guy I almost just killed.

Camilo's POV

----------------------

I rummaged through my dresser, searching through the draws, looking for a shirt for Y/N. I pulled out a loose white shirt and a some shorts with a string running through the waist band. I laid them on top of the dresser and shut it.

I looked around the room, the walls were light gray, with moving blotches moving around slowly. I didn't like it, so I thought of a different room.

soon the walls turned to a dark, soft wood. the floor beneath my feet melted away into wood as well, but it was varnished and lighter then the walls. The frame of my bed also darkened as a night stand appeared beside it, casting a faint yellow light on the pillow from a candle that had arisen on the night stand.

The room wasn't dark, but there wasn't a solid light source coming from. any where, it was so unnaturally light that it made my head hurt.

I looked down and squinted my eyes, trying not to focuse on the lighting and grabbed the cloths and headed out of my room. Behind me I could hear shuffling as the room readjusted itself, and just like that it silenced as the door clicked back into place.

I held onto the railing as my sandals slapped against the wood of the stairs. I quickly walked over to where the couch was but there only sat a pile of neatly folded clothes. I walked closer to it and saw tears and cuts in it, it was Y/Ns clothes. I looked around, looking for him.

I heard some rustling and looked around, one of the beams of the stair case had shifted out of place and was pointing to the nursery. Thank you, Casita.

I quickly made my way back up the stairs. I waited a moment, but stepped to the nursery door. Mirabel had once slept in the nursery, but since Casita was rebuilt, she had finally been given a room to herself.

I gently knocked on the door, still gripping the clothes with my left hand. I heard some shuffling around in the room and Mirabel opened to door, she was holding a rag that was damp and had red stains on it. Mirabel awkwardly shifted out of the way, drying her hands on the rag as I stepped in.

Y/N was laying in the nursery bed, a blanket had been quickly thrown on top of him as tia Julieta tried to make it a bit more neat. "Tia, I brought the clothes for him." I said softly, even if he was knocked out, I felt like I should be quiet. Tia Julieta nodded and stood up straight, heading over to me.

She took the clothes from my grasped and set them down on the nightstand beside Y/N.

I couldn't help myself, I looked over to him. His hair was a tangled mess on top of the pillow, and his collar bone was just peaking out of the tan sheets. Even if he was unconscious, he still looked worried. I felt bad. Was this my fault?

Tia Julieta moved a bucket of water from a chair and sat down, wipping her hands on her dress and tucking her hair behind her ears. "So, Camilo..." She begun.

Ugh, I didn't want to talk about this. I started to think about what to say, but it only caused more guilt to rush over me. I think it was my fault...

"Yes, Tia?" I asked, even though I knew what she was going to ask.

"What... what happened?" She questioned, her brown eyes were clouded with worry and her hand motioned to Y/N. It's my fault. I could've stopped it.

I shifted uneasily, my right hand met my left arm as I looked down at the wooden floor. What do I say? it's my fault? please dont be upset? Oh yeah don't be upset I nearly killed our guests?

I shifted my eyes from the floor to Y/N. There was still a worried look on his resting face, almost frustration. His eyebrows crinkled at the center, causing an unsettled look on his closed eyes. His mouth was slightly parted and I could see his white teeth poking between his lips, only making it easier to see the uneasy way his mouth turned down.

"I..." I begun, I tried to think about what to say, but I was cut off by the sound of a bell. It was around 5pm, it would be dark soon. Tia Julieta let our a frustrated sigh, stood up, and wiped her hands instinctively over her apron.

"I have to head out into town before it gets too dark out, we'll talk about this later. Mirabel? Will you come help me?" She asked her daughter. Mirabel seemed out of it, but her mother's words seemed to snap her back into place, and she quickly nodded her head. And with out another word, they left, leaving me and Y/N in the nursery.

When I heard the door click back into place, I moved over to the chair. I peaked over into the bucket. The water was murky, pale pink swirled throughout it, covering the bottom from sight.

I couldn't help my eyes from wandering over to Y/N, a part of me wanted to comfort him, like he was a distressed child. I know that's not how I should treat him, but I barely knew him. Though, honestly, its kind of nice to have someone else my age in Encanto.
