"You've trained hard. You've gotten stronger, tougher, faster. You've done your best. You're ready for this tournament, am I right?" Lawrence yelled as he stood on top of a car in a large car lot

"Yes, sensei!" Everyone replied.

"Wrong!" He shouted throwing a beer that nearly hit Daniella and Amelia. "The best ain't shit. If you wanna win the All valley under-18 karate tournament you gotta give me better than your best. Which is why from now on, you're gonna get my worst. Do you understand?"

"Yes, sensei!"

"Are you losers?"

"No sensei!"

"Are you nerds?"

"No, sensei!"

"Are you sure?"

"No sensei!" The group yelled realizing what they had just said while he face palmed.

"Move those feet. Go!" He yelled at Daniella and Hawk as they ran through tires "your enemies are all around you. Destroy them!" He said while the every one started smashing car windows

The next challenge was to walk on a beam across glass with parts underneath it. While Daniella was on it she felt her self about to slip. She felt her feet almost slip out from under her as she walked. She quickly stood up straight walking across it trying her hardest not to slip. Once she had finally made it down she saw Hawk waiting for her with a smile on his face once he saw her. She'd smiled back at him as he walked over to her wrapping an arm around her.

"You wanna win you gotta be hungry. You guys hungry?" Lawrence asked handing everyone a beef stick

"Yes, sensei!" The shouted out to him

"Good. Cause so are they." He said blowing a whistle type thing when they heard dogs barking approaching them. Daniella was confused looking at her lover who's arm was around her who was looking just as confused. They then came into view, the dogs, they looked angry and bark as they ran to them.

"Oh shit!" Daniella mumbled as they all ran from them. Hawk has tried to stay by
Daniella as they ran. Daniella had gotten on top of a truck while Hawk tried to climb up while the dogs barked at him and he yelled making Daniella laugh hysterically but finally lifting him up.

"I-I almost died!" Hawk screeched while Daniella through her head back laughing.

Hawk and Daniella had gone back over to Daniella's house after words. Once they walked in Daniella could tell something was off.

"Evelyn? Jakob? Mom?" Daniella called looking around the house. She looked in every room not seeing anyone. She felt a sinking feeling in her stomach. She finally looked in the bath room seeing her younger sister sitting there puking. "Evelyn? You alright?" She asked going up to the girl rubbing her back

"I-I don't know. I don't feel good." The younger girl groaned out.

"Why didn't you call one of us? Hawk call my mom." She said turning to her boyfriend while he nodded leaving the bathroom. "Is that...blood?" Daniella asked whipping off Evelyn's lip and looking down at her hands seeing red on it.

"Dani what's happening?" Evelyn asked looking up to her while Daniella picked the girl up laying her on the couch.

"Your moms on her way." Hawk said in a soft voice as he came into the living room looking at Daniella as she cried and held her little sister. Hawk walked over to the two rubbing Daniella's back with a sad look on his face.

About 20-25 minutes later Diana had came running through the door going over to her two children. She felt the younger girls head and it was burning.

"Eli, call 911." The mother said with a serious look on her face as he nodded calling the number.
