Adeline's P.O.V

This damn bruise on my forehead hasn't gotten any better and it's now Friday, but I don't really care about the bruise, all I can think about is Harry. I sound so girly. I sound like one of those girls that freak out if a cute guy looks at me. I'm not. I promise. I just, I don't know. I just can't seem to get him off of my mind.

I've had a crush on him since he first came here in 10th grade. I wouldn't necessarily say it's a crush, cause I've never spoken to him, but he's cute. Very cute. I don't think he'll ever talk to me again. I mean, the only reason he was nice to me is because he hit me with a door. Right?

I'm currently in my last class of the day. Math. I actually like math, it's one of my favorite subjects. There's 5 minutes left, and I feel really excited. For no reason. I don't have plans. I never do, honestly. On Friday's I normally just lounge around in my underwear. My dad normally isn't home on Friday's. He normally stays in the city for work, that's why I lounge around in my underwear and a big tee shirt. I don't really mind. Although, it does get a bit lonely.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

Finally. I grab my belongings and head for the door.

"Addie!" My teacher, Mr.Mitchell calls.

I turn back around and make my way to his desk.

"Someone brought this note to me before class and told me to give it to you. I normally don't do this type of thing. I'm not a messenger. Don't let it happen again." He says sternly, while handing me a folded piece of paper.

"Uh, okay. Sorry. Thanks. It won't happen again." I say very confused.

"Have a good weekend!" He says.

"You too!" I say over my shoulder as I walk out into the hallway.

There isn't very many people left, since it's Friday, and game day. First game of the season if I'm correct. I won't be attending, simply because I get a little overwhelmed with sports. Don't get me wrong. I love football. I watch it all the time with my dad. Favorite team is Pittsburgh Steelers. Always has been, and always will be. I just get a little..... aggressive. I get really into the sport for some reason, so I don't go. That and I wouldn't have anyone to go with. And that would be awkward to say the least.

I stop by my locker and look at the note in my hand. Should I read it? I don't really know anyone that would give me a note.

Adeline,

Meet me by the bleachers at 2:45.

- H. xx

H? Who's H? Harry? No It couldn't be. Why would he want to meet me by the bleachers. This is ridiculous. I look at the clock to see its 2:40 right now. Maybe I should go meet him, I mean it wouldn't hurt. Right?

I grab my book-bag and head to the bleachers. I hope this isn't some prank. I don't know why anyone would want to prank me, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

I open the door to the back of the school and walk towards the football field. Last time I was out here, was Freshmen year. For P.E we would sometimes use the field.

I walk towards the bleachers and I don't see anyone near them. I should just turn around and go home.

Before I had time to turn around and head home I feel a pair of hands wrap around me and pull me towards the inside of the bleachers. The first thing I think of is to scream. So I do.

"Shh. Shh. Adeline. It's me."

I turn around to be faced with those emerald eyes.

"Jesus Harry. You scared the shit out of me." I say hitting his arm.

He chuckles.

"Sorry. I didn't mean too." He says, still laughing.

"You were so scared." He adds, still laughing.

"It isn't funny. I thought you were some kidnapper trying to take me or something." I say glaring at him.

"Okay. Okay." He puts his hands up in defeat.

"I'm sorry."

"Are you coming to the game?" He adds.

"I'm not."

"Why not? It's the first game of the season." He says.

"I've actually never been to one. It's not really my scene." I say.

"Then what is your scene?"

"Uhh....." I trail off.

"Please." He pleads.

"I don't know Harry, I normally don't go to these things and-"

"It'll be fun, I promise. We can do something afterwards." He cuts me off.

"Like what?" I ask, curiously.

"Someone normally throws a party after the games, you could come as my plus one." He says, looking at me.

"A party? I've never actually been to one." I say, looking down at my feet.

He grabs my chin, making me look at him.

"It'll be fun, I promise." He says giving me a toothy grin.

"Fine." I sigh.

"Really?!?" He asks excitedly.

"I mean, cool. Yeah, so I'll see you later then?" He says.

"Can I get your number?" He adds.

"Oh um, sure." I say handing him my phone, while he hands me his.

"Cool, I'll text you after the game. Hope to see you there Adeline." He says, giving my cheek a kiss and then he's off.

"It's Addie." I say quietly.

Did he just? Am I actually going? Oh my god, why did I agree with this.

Dammit Addie.

Why did I do that? What's wrong with me? What time does the game even start? I think it starts at 7.

It's 3 now. I have time to go home and change, yeah. I can do this. It's not like he asked me on a date. Wait did he? What do you even wear to a football game? And if there's a party afterwards, what do you wear? Do you change? Stay in the same clothes?

Dammit Addie. I scold myself.

Oh god. Party. Drinking. I've had a beer once. With my cousin. We were at my family's lake house and my cousin and I thought if the adults were drinking, then we should too. It's wasn't a very good idea to say the least.

Before I know it, I'm in front of my house. When did I even get here? I must've been thinking to much to notice. I grab my keys and unlock my door.
I walk up the stairs and decide I'll have a quick shower. After my shower, I walk into my bedroom to see its already 4:30. I have plenty of time before the game starts. I walk into my closet and am immediately freaking out, because I have no idea what to wear.

This is harder than I thought it would be....
