what was that nightmare?

Baz came over with dinner a few hours later. My nervousness didn't settle down even when he came over. If anything, I felt like my hunch was right. Something was probably watching me.

"Ryan, are you sure you're doin' okay?"

I didn't hear Bazz. He put his hand on my shoulder and I looked behind me. Nobody was there. I looked back and I saw him looking at me with concern.

"I feel like..."

How will he believe me? Maybe it might be nothing, again. Why do I feel like I'm lying to myself?

"Nothing!" I forced a smile on.

"Are you sure you don't want to talk about it? I'll always be here for you!"

"It's fine... I promise!"

Baz didn't look convinced. I tried to get off of the subject.

"Come on! I'll get more sleep tonight. Why don't we play some FNaF fan games when we're done with dinner?"

"Sure, mate. Just letting you know, I'm here for you!"

We both head inside and Baz still looks concerned.

It's all your fault

I looked up at Baz. I was very confused. Whatever I did, I didn't mean any harm.

"I'm sorry for whatever I did to upset you. You know I always joke around!"

"Ryan, what happened recently? You look like you've been stressed all day!"

"I TOLD YOU, I'M FINE!" I yelled at him without realising it, that's the thing... I have been stressed recently without realising it. "I'm sorry Baz, I-" Before I knew it I could feel a gentle hug.

"I'm sorry for pushing you... you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I'll chill on the topic."

I started crying. "I'm not fine... ever since that nightmare, strange things have been happening to me all day. The whispering, the voices in my head... I feel like I'm constantly being watched. I'm scared... I can't tell anyone about it because it's strange... I'm probably overthinking things, tomorrow will probably be better."

"Yea" Baz stood up from the hug and went back to where he was.

The rest of the night went how it would normally go. Baz decided to stay over, just in case anything bad were to happen. I went to bed and I had another nightmare but, this time, it felt real.
