Pain

Ruv's POV

I made it to a new laboratory. I hated the people inside those places. They had put me into a glass room with white walls and a light shining down on me. I looked at the glass on the wall. I saw 'them'. I hated them.

"Please scream into this microphone." A person said. I stood there and glared at them. The microphone moved torwards me. "Why don't you put the speaker to your ear and go blind while you're at it." I whispered into the microphone. He looked at me shocked. I smashed the microphone. He then looked to someone else and nodded. Then the door opened and two men marched in. They pulled off my shirt and lifted me up. They spun me around a few times, then put me back down. They left and closed the door behind them. I sat on the floor because I was practically threw on the floor. I looked at the ground. "Now would you like to scream?" He asked again. I shook my head no. I didn't care what they did to me.

When I stopped shaking my head the door opened. "Maybe this will tempt you?" He said. I looked up to see a girl be thrown into the room. She stood up. "You will never hurt him with me in here you- aacckk!" She said but was cut off by something on her neck shocking her. She fell to the floor. My eyes widened. She says trying to get it off. "Fine!" I said. The thing on her neck stopped shocking her.

I went over to her and hugged her. She hugged back. A microphone was handed to me by a guard. They then took away the girl. She looked very familiar.

When they closed the door I took a deep breath and yelled into the microphone. I made the building shake a bunch. I was hit in the head with a rock. I rubbed my head a bit. I looked at them. They were all startled. After a few seconds they loosened up. He took back the microphone.

"H-how did you do that?" He asked still a bit surprised. I just shrugged my shoulders. He then looked at someone again and nodded. The door opened and a man in a white coat came in. He had a syringe in his hand. My eyes widened. I back into the wall. I knew what they were going to do. They were going to take my voice box out of my body. (Yes, that is what that body organ is called. He is not a doll.) They were going to kill me.

"No! Stay away!" I said scared a bit. He then stopped in front of me. "Any words before I put you out?" He asked. I looked down. I smiled as tears came down my face. "Goodbye." I said. He then stuck me with the syringe. I blacked out. After that I didn't know what happened.

Time skip

I woke up in a room on a bed. I had thing attached to me. I looked down. I had wires attached to my chest and arms. I was strapped to the bed as well. I tried to call for help, but I had something in my mouth. I grew scared. "Mmmmhhhff! Mmmmhhhfffff!" I tried calling again. No one came.

Then I heard the door open. I looked to see who it was. It was 'them'. I knew they were going to hurt me. "Shhh. Im not going to hurt you. I'm just trying to take you back to your room." He said as he took the thing out of my mouth. It hurt. It felt like he was taking my tounge out of my mouth. I screamed. I heard clapping outside of the room. I couldn't see anything but the guy and light. He then took the wires off. They didn't hurt as bad but still did. I winced at the pain. "Sorry. First day." He said.

After he had tooken off everything, I jumped up and pinned him to the wall. I had my hand around his neck. "Let me and everybody else out of here now and you won't die." I said. He was trying to pry my hand from his neck. He was choking. I chuckled a bit without a smile. I tightened my grip.

"Let him go!" I heard a voice yell. I looked to see who it was. It was that same girl. "And why should I listen to you?" I asked. She took a deep breath.

"I know you. This isn't you, Ruv. You were kind and always looked after Sarv." She said. I dropped the man. He admittedly gasped for air. I didn't care though. I couldn't care less. I just wanted to know how the girl knew me. "How do you know me?" I asked. She smiled and walked closer torsards me. I had nowhere to go. When she got to me she hugged me. "Because I'm your sister." She said. Then it hit me.

"Taki?" I asked. She nodded. I teared up. She let go and looked up. "Come with me." She said. I looked at her with a teary, confused look. She looked back at me. "Come with me." She said again. I nodded and we walked away out of the room.

A few moments later...

We had been walking around for a bit. She had token me on a tour of the facility. We had talked about how things were at the facility. Then, she brought up something.

"Who are you thinking about?" She asked. I looked at her suprised and blushed. "Ooooh~ Who's the lucky girl?" She said. "No one. I don't like anyone." I said. She then hugged me. I hugged her back awkwardly. "Sorry brother." She said. I tried to say something but couldn't as she through me into a closet.

She walked in after me. She took foam and duck tape and stuck it onto the collar that they had on us. "Now pretend that I am the girl you like." She said. "W-what?!" I said. She then caressed my face. I pulled away her hand. "No Taki. Not like this." I said. I knew she was trying to get me to say his name but, I wouldn't. "Oh come on Ruv. Just tell me!" She said. I sighed. I found the light switch and turned on the light. "Why did you do that?" She asked. "Because you are the weirdest person on earth." I said. She gasped. "*le gasp* How dare you!" She said. I chuckled without a smile.

"Just tell me her name and I will leave you alone about it." She said. I shook my head. "Please?" She said as she looked at me with puppy dog eyes. I sighed. "Fine." I said. She squealed. "It's... a boy." I said. She looked at me with stars in her eyes. "His name is Whitty... He's really sweet and kind. He has a sister and a friend that he treats as his sister." I said. I didn't notice but I was smiling. "Oooooh~ is he hot?" She asked. I tensed up. She then started to laugh. "Stop it!" I semi-yelled at her. She continued to laugh. She then turned into her form. She then stopped laughing.

"Where are you're wings?" I asked. "Oh those things? They cut them off." She said. I got mad. "Who." I asked. I was really mad. "N-no need for that Ruv. It's really fine." She said. "Who." I asked again. She sighed. She opened the door and we walked out. No one was around. It was night time. She ripped off the foam from our collars. She looked at me and put her finger over her mouth. I nodded. We walked down the halls into a room. It was dark but I could still see. Her on the other hand, could not.

She reached for an on switch. She eventually found it and turned on the lights. I looked around at the room. It had posters all over the wall of PEG. She sighed. She walked over to the bed and sat down. I sat down next to her.

"This is my room." She said. I nodded. It was so bland. At least they gave her a window torwards the ceiling. "You can stay here for the night and tell me about this, Whitty? Am I right?" She said. I tensed up. I looked down as well. She started to laugh. "Shut up." I said quietly. "Don't worry. They can't hear us." She said. I felt my wings come out. I had reached my limit. I grabbed onto my hat and took it off. I wrapped my jacket around me to make sure my wings didn't show.

"You turned." She said after she stopped laughing. I nodded as I kept my head down. "Did they take your wings too?" She said. I didn't do anything. "Be truthful." She said. I sighed. I took off my jacket and let my wings spread. I kept my head down though. I felt arms wrap around me. I hugged Taki back.

"Keep them hidden." She said as she put my jacket back onto my back. I looked back at her and nodded.

Time skip

After a few hours, I had turned back and she had went to sleep. I couldn't sleep. I had climbed up to the windowsill. I sat down and looked at the walls that they had outside. I sighed. "I wish I could see you again." I said.

I then climbed back down and slept on the palete that Taki had made for me. I missed him.
