But how it came too this is just as interesting in 1980 Dianes husband divorced her after being convinced her some Danny wasn't his she also tried too become a surrogate but was turned down after being tested and showing signs of psychosis but all of that changed when she found her new lover who much later left her because of her children on may 19th Diane pulled over on the side of a road in a rural area and repeatedly shot her 3 kids with a .22-caliber pistol than shot her self in the arm before racing too the hospital saying a carjacker had attacked them. her seven year old had died her three year old was paralyzed from the waist down and her oldest Christie (8) had a stroke that impacted her speech. Diane when at the hospital made many comments like "boy, this has really spoiled my vacation" and "that really ruined my new car. I got blood all over the back seat" and she had said this all without any emotion. Than later Diane also lied stating she does not own a gun but a search later revealed that was a lie when her daughter Christie regained the ability too talk she was asked who had shot them and her reply was "my mom" and in 1984 she was convinced and sentenced too life in prison
