Important First Impressions

Willow and Blaise had spent the last few weeks running on coffee, ice cream, blood, and pure spite.

All over the world, Vampires had dropped dead; no warning, no rhyme or reason. Dead.
It was all over the Wixen world, the supernatural world, and in Hawaii, it was an outbreak of something or another.

Everyone was on edge, especially her.

Blaise was the most important person apart from Teddy to her in the world.
They had been best friends since first year, and when he was forcibly turned at the Final Battle in 1998; Willow felt him die. She felt the worst pain she had ever felt; half of her was gone, the good half, the moral half. With Blaise's death, Willow became the Weapon she was moulded to be.
After all, the only way to kill a monster was to become yourself.

They vowed on magic, they would never leave each other. And since Willow found out she was immortal, something the story books got wrong since she ends up dead constantly, they wouldn't have to worry about dying due to old age.

Willow had been in contact with a Lucian Castle, more like he got into contact with her... Again. She was more open with her opinions about dark creatures, and their work with ancestry, had shocked many, many families. But Merlin, Morgana, and Mordrid did that ancient vampire piss her off.
The Strix, silly name, needed the best help they could get, even if it was with the woman who had threatened them, on more than one occasion, at least 61 different ways she could curse, maim, and destroy them without even breaking a sweat.

Once getting their blood, Blaise and Willow noticed they were all different, they all had different sires that included Blaise who had no idea whose line he came from.
Yet after everyone talked, read: a few snapped necks each, and concluded, that Finn was the unfortunate Original who'd perished. And the need to protect the Original Vampires, or in Lucian's opinion dagger the lot and keep Klaus in a similar hole as Aurora

The Strix knew it wasn't Mikael's doing, they had kept a close eye on him; the trio had too after meeting him. Thankfully the incident in question was after Elijah's compulsion broke, but still, the three of them just got out with their lives; the carnage left in their wake was just written into the Battle of Muret

This was why Willow and Blaze were in Italy, San Vittore a city neither had visited in at least a decade.
For some reason, the pair blamed 'Potter Luck', The Original Hybrid just happened to be; which coincided with one of the oldest cemeteries in the region being disturbed

Heading to a café, Willow spots a man with the sexiest smirk she had seen in a long time. Checking against the most recent picture the Strix had of Niklaus Mikaelson; 1957 he was nestled comfortably between Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.
But even if it wasn't for the promiscuous photo that would have been considered porn back in the 40s, there was the most soothing amount of death that surrounded him.

"Castle was right," Blaise's smirk was filthy. "He does look better in person"
"Is that what your thinking about?!"
"And you're not?!"
Honestly, neither knew why they were friends

"You both know," Klaus exclaimed, smiling broadly. "I can hear you"
