"Let me get this right," Willow slurred. "You haven't gotten revenge. In fact, you're helping your brother's murderers"
That probably wasn't the best thing the last Potter could have said, but after 3 bottles of Grappa each. It was"I'm trying to be better" Niklaus exclaimed, finishing his glass in one
"For who?" Willow asked, the second Klaus from the left. "And if you say Caroline; I'm punching you in the face""Jealous, love?"
"No, I pity you," She declared, getting off her stool at the bar in hopes of finding more to drink, as the beautiful barman had left. You see the bar itself was now vacant; people had slowly all left, some from their presence alone when they first entered, others saw how much they were drinking and were still alive before booking it out of there
Despite, not reaching said bottles, there was a fair amount of liquid courage in her; nothing stopped Willow from saying, "One of the first family; more a kin to a God and you're acting like a bitch in heat"He was behind her in a second, lowly growling in her ear "Be careful with what you say next, Willow"
"Sacred of the truth, Niklaus" she retorted, with the corner of her lips curling into a mocking smirk"My brother, Finn was nothing more than a bore." Niklaus spewed the familiar lie on his tongue, not that anyone dared to correct him.
It wasn't as if Finn was a better Mother and Father to him and his siblings. Or him who tended to his wounds healing him with magic once Mikael was finished raising his hand. Or taught Kol dark magic behind everyone's backs. Or deal with the men who were wanting to hurt Rebekah, in the most horrid of ways. Or never turned his back on family. That was until he awoke
"He betrayed me, betrayed the family. He wanted to die, good riddance""Have you ever wondered why he wanted to die?"
Niklaus didn't need to wonder, he knew. Finn was turned into a vampire and when he needed help they turned their backs on him.
Glitnir this woman needs to stop saying things like this; it's making him feel things, feelings he had locked in a box and thrown away the box. But one of the feelings he knew well, anger, he could work with that"Why are you so insistent?! You didn't know Finn"
"I don't know why, I don't know why I'm defending your brother," Willow glared, with just as much heat as the sun.
"Or maybe I do," she hissed like a cobra, as her left hand trembled with phantom pains. "Maybe I know what it's like, to have everyone, including your so-called family not wanting to be near your for something that wasn't your choice"Willow didn't care that she was trapped on one of the tables, as Niklaus lorded over her caging her in, daring her to make another move; she did, her tongue had always cut deeper than any blade.
"But I had Blaise. At the end of the day I. Had. Blaise. Who did your brother have?"
"He chose to help Esther," The Hybrid seethed. "He chose to kill his sibling and flee when it didn't work!"
"After 900 years."Looking right into his eyes, watching them bleed amber as Willow taunted, "Who knows what happened to him in those 9 centuries? You don't, you were too busy living. Living the life he should have had, while Finn was locked away. Alone. Abandoned-"
Not wanting to listen, Niklaus couldn't listen, if he did everything he locked away with Finn would be opened; he couldn't, it hurt too much.
So, in true Original fashion, he ripped into her neck draining her dry.
That's what he tried to do.The second her blood past his lips, Niklaus was lost in her. Everything seemed brighter, more alive. Loud ringing buzzed in his ears; explosion after explosion, that was what every drop of her blood was
If this was how the end of Niklaus Mikaelson came to be, then so be it. Even when he was launched into the other side of the bar, trapped by debris; he had just chewed on a live wire, and he was ready to ascend his throne in Hell
