A few weeks passed & Shantii eventually told our aunt and granny about her pregnancy. Gramma cried when she first found out but she told Shantii she was happy. Shantii finally hit 7 months too so I was buying a whole lot of baby stuff for her house and mine. One day Shantii called and asked me to come over so I got dressed and went with Von. I seen Dre walking up on the porch when I pulled up so I cut the car off & said "Heyy!" Dre turned around and smiled then he said "Oh wassup. I ain't know y'all was coming." Me: "Shantii asked me to come. She said she been bored" Von dapped Dre up and said "Wassup." Dre: "Aye I needa talk to you dawg.." Von: "About what?" Dre looked at me and cleared his throat then he said "Nadia can you go inna house?" Me: "I guess..."
I looked at Von and he shrugged then I looked back at Dre and said "Mm..." I walked inside and seen Shantii standing in the kitchen cooking and listening to music. Shantii: "Hey NaNa" Me: "Hii." She sat the spoon down then she held her arms out so I hugged her & said "You feel ight?" Shantii: "Yeah. I been hungry all day so I just decided to make sum. I thought you said Von was coming." Me: "He did. Him and Dre outside talkin bout sum." Shantii: "Ugh they needa hurry up. I ain't seen Dre all day.." Me: "Why 😭" Shantii: "He been at work 🙄 Then he took forever to get here cus he had to "pick sum up from his brother" Lemme find out he was wit another bitch." Me: "He told Von he needed to talk to him about something so if Dre don't tell you imma ask Von." Shantii sucked her teeth and said "Girl please. You know how niggas be when it come to they homeboys."
Me: "So? I'm his girlfriend, he betta tell me. And I've known him longer than Dre sooo." Shantii: "Bye asf 😂 He ain't gon give a fuck." Me: "Tuh." Shantii put one of her hands on her back & sighed then she said "Girl imma show you da pictures from my appointment the other day. Junior is HEAVY." Me: "Aww he gon be chunkyyy." Shantii: "I like chunky babies. I can't wait to hold him.." Me: "Me too." Shantii: "I wanna hold him so bad but I'm kinda scared about having to push him out or having a C-section 😭" Me: "Everything's gon be fine. You & DJ gon be healthy and happy. Plus you still got another 2 months." Shantii: "Yeah but dat shit gon fly by 🤣 I'm still shocked I'm dis far into my pregnancy. I remember when they first told me I was pregnant" Me: "I can't wait til you have anotherrr" Shantii: "When you gon have one?" Me: "Tuh not for a while."
Von & Dre came back in a few minutes later then Von plopped on the couch and Dre sat across from him on the other one. Dre sighed and rubbed his head with his hands then he looked at the floor and bounced his knee. I sat next to Von and kissed his cheek then I whispered "What's wrong wit Dre?" Von shook his head and looked at the floor too so I said "Von 😐" Von: "What?" Me: "Tell me." Von: "It ain't nun to tell you ma. Relax" He kissed me then I sighed and put my head on his shoulder. Shantii: "Babyyy" Dre: "Yeah?" Shantii: "Come here boo. I missed you" Dre looked at Von then he got up and went in the kitchen with Shantii. Me: "What's wrong wit him?" Von: "Nadia relax." Me: "Whatchu mean relax? I'm relaxed. I just wanna know wassup wit him cus he seems stressed out and I know y'all talked" Von: "Yeah but you keep askin after I said it's coo."
I rolled my eyes and said "Ight whateva Von." Von: "You my girl & I love you ma but I can't be tellin his business ight? Ain't nun bad happen, he's straight" He kissed me then I smiled & said "Fine.." Dre came back in the living room and sat down again then he balled his hands up and pulled his phone out of his pocket. A few minutes later he got up again and looked at Von then he threw his head back and Von smiled. Dre walked into the kitchen again and stood behind Shantii then he kissed her neck and rubbed her stomach. I seen Shantii smile then she laughed and leaned her head back. Me: "I'm so happy for her. She looks so happy." Von: "Ong 😂 Durk my homie but he neva had her like dat." Me: "He seems happier with India tho." Von: "He is."
