After we were done, "y/n, I- uh do you have any plans today night ?" Clay asked me. "No, why?" I replied. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner." He has offered me. "Yeah, sure." I replied, and smiled at him. I went to my room to study. I could not focus at all. Clay had asked me out. Was this a date? I didn't know. I didn't think it was date. I wasn't sure. That afternoon, I did a stream. I started at 3 and ended around 5:30. I was playing with SapNap and George. After stream, I was calling with George.
"George you won't believe it, my roommate asked me out!"
"No way, why are you so excited tho?"
"Shut up I'm just telling you. And we are just friends. nothing more, so shut the fuck up."
"Yeah whatever I ship."
"GEORGE YOU IDIOT!"
"Okay I'll stop just don't scream into my AirPods!"
"Anyway, I found out I have holidays for a month and a half in June, so I can visit UK."
"Sure"
"Oh yeah, MCC teams are gonna be announced soon, right?"
"Yeah"
"I hope I'm not on the same team as Dream."
"Come on you both are probably just flirting, maybe Dream likes you."
"Excuse me? Your an absolute idiot you know that right?"
While I was calling George and idiot, I had gone out of my room to get my books for the year. Yes I had books, but they weren't officially from the school. The official school textbooks were finally ready to be picked up. Anyway, I walked towards the door. "Hey y/n." I heard someone say to me. I turned behind me. "Hold on George." "Oh hey Clay." I replied. "Are you going to get your books?" He asked,looking over at me. I nodded. "Me too, you wanna go together?" He asked me. "Yeah sure." I replied, smiling. "Also, sorry if I interrupted your call." He said, opening the door. "Uh no, it's fine, I really don't mind. I rather talk to you than this idiot." I replied, slightly laughing. "Oi!" I heard George say through my AirPods. Me and Clay both picked up our books. We were talking on the way.
"Alright well I'll see you later at 8." Clay said to me, before he went to his room. "Alright." I replied. By the time I wasted time on my phone, it was already 7. One more hour. I decided I would get ready. I picked out an outfit.

I legit didn't know if it was fine or not. I texted George in a hurry. He said what I was wearing was perfectly fine. I knew George, he was very honest with me. He would tell me, or criticise me if my choice is actually bad, so I trusted that what I was wearing was fine. Suddenly, I got a text. It was from my friend, Quackity. He was asking me to join his stream, as Dream was busy and the others were not responding. "Sorry, I'm busy right now, I'll ask George to join ur VC." I replied to his text. Why would Dream be busy? He's normally free anytime on weekends. Whatever the reason was, Wasn't my business. I didn't need to know. By 7:30, I was ready. I spent another 20 minutes on my phone, scrolling through social media. 7:50, I was quite nervous. I didn't even know why. It was just a dinner, what I was so afraid of? I was over thinking it for 5 minutes. Then I decided just forget it, and go.
There was still 5 minutes left, so I quickly packed my AirPods, and other things in my purse, I walked out of my room, to see Clay leaning against the dorm room door frame. "Ready?" He asked me. I nodded. Why did I kind of find it, attractive. I don't know, I was probably going crazy at that point. I couldn't possible be falling in love with someone I met 2 days ago. And that too, a roommate. I stopped thinking about it and followed him down. He had a car, woah. I mean honestly nothing to be so impressed, I guess I was just shocking probably since it was my first time seeing it.
Clay had opened the door for me. I thanked him. I watched him start the car. "Y/n, can I ask you something?" Clay asked me. "Yeah go ahead." I replied, curious. "Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked me, I could see him a bit nervous. "Oh- uh no, I have an ex tho." I replied. "Ohh, sorry to hear." He replied. "Oh no no, don't be sorry, I'm glad we broke up." I replied. "Ohh alright." He replied. I saw the rain, and how it looked with the sky as a background. It was so pretty. I immediately took out my phone to get a picture.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" I heard him say.
"It really is."
Writers note HELLOO, I'm so sorry I took so long to get this chapter out- I was having my exams, and after I've been really busy with packing bc I'll be shifting countries, also sorry for the chapter also being quite short, I'll try to make the next chapter longer and I know things are happening really fast even tho it's only the 3rd chapter 😭 sorry!!
